Make a serveroption that disables staff in the serveroptions(for RC) from overriding ignore mass messages when they mass off tag.

Or some other method or option of allowing RC wielding staff to choose not to have their masses override ignore when they are offtag.

Honestly I don't think anyone's masses should go through this ignore masses option without having a stafftag on.

I agree, and although staff should refrain from pointless rc/staff tag masses, this would be a good idea.

Shouldn't even be an option. If you're off tag, then your masses shouldn't go through, period.

I say:

*RC Masses always go through (You shouldn't be massing from RC unless it's important, anyway. Plus it is an Administration Tool)
*In-Game if you are on tag, they go through; off tag - no. They shouldn't.

Would also be nice if, "Ignore Mass PMs if client is on" worked. Never works for me for some reason.

What do you mean? RC mass messages should always go through, RC is a staff tool.

Not everyone shares your opinion. Such a thing is better made a server option.

An RC should only mass if it's important. Maybe add a right for it to go through if they abuse it?

It's better to keep this as simple as possible. Adding a right would require that RC is edited, and this is something that can be done without an update to the tools.

Adding a right for that would be ridicolous.

To go through to RC's with ignore mass on.
But I guess it was a bit dumb :p

We will upload a new server version in a few hours which will not override the ignore-mass-message option anymore for client-staff which are off-tag, and for RC you have the new option "rcofftagoverridesignore=false" (global staff will still override off-tag though).
Update: the server has been uploaded to the machines with dev-servers, please someone test it, then it can be uploaded to the other machines.

I've uploaded the new server to all machines but will not restart classic / gold servers all at once.

I was surprised this actually got done, but very much appreciate that it did.

Can you make it so that you don't get the masses that staff make off-tag when you're on RC too? It doesn't seem to matter if they're on tag or not when you're on RC and have masses ignored.

It works fine for me.
