"Take A Break From Gold" Feature
 

A handy feature to have would be something that stops taking "Gold" days off your account and makes you Trial.

For example, lets say your going a trip for 2 weeks. Graal is going to keep taking days off your Gold time while your gone. A waste of money in my opinion.

This feature would freeze the number of Gold Days you have left and during this time you would become a trial.

What does everyone think of this idea?

I think that's pretty cool, however people might freeze it for years and start playing and forget.

I think that it would work well in theory, but horribly in practical use, as it can easily be abused.

"Oh hey, I'm done playing for today, let's pause my subscription and go to bed!"

The current system is fine, where you can pause the monthly purchase of a new subscription.

That could be easily avoided, maybe by limiting it to 2-3 times in a year.

Or even better, having the minimum time frozen set to 7 days or something.

I think it's fine as it is, since most people pay by month. And how would freezing effect lifetime Classic accounts? I can see there being some fine print saying "oh, you lose classic if you do this"

I thought there was a way of "pausing" your subscription at current? I never really understood what that meant though, so I might be mistaken.

When you pause it, it will not automatically renew when it runs out (if you have enough gelats for it).

Ah, so what are the time limits?

Also, the green light simply means they are online at the time and the title under your user name can be changed in the CP....nothing special at all.

The green light means whether their online or not, whilst you can change if it says registered under your name if you want.

You can change your Graal###### by setting a community name and I'm sure the majority of us continue to pay too.

I've had an active Gold subscription ever since this account was created, which means I've payed every time it has ran out for the past ~5 years. My account before that also had an active P2P.

I have changed to a custom user title, which any forum user can do. The green light also indicates if a person is online on the forums or not, and it's red if the latter is true.

I don't think you understand what this thread is about - it's about pausing your active subscription so the days don't vanish while you're on vaccation and things like that.

Erm, dude, seriously - read the thread. We're talking about people being able to pause their own subscription.

I just paused my subscription today. Log onto Graal Kingdoms, play it for a while cause it is awesome. When you are done, click on the sword in the top right corner. Click on inventory, and click "Don't renew next month," You keep your Gelats and your forums access and get to play another day. On Kingdoms. there is only Kingdoms.

Though you can pause it after the end of the month you can't just stop it whilst a gold subscription is running.

Oni can you be a bit more mature and instead of swearing at the people who have been attempting to help you, thank them?

Hmm clearly your just over reacting, this is a place for ideas and help to be spread not flame.

what if you had to apply to have your account frozen, for example you apply (however it would be done) state your reason (going on holiday, example) state the time required to be frozen (week-monthe?) and if the reason/time is reaonable, a staff member can freeze the account untill such a date when you return. each frozen account could be logged and i dont see how such a system could be abused since you would be dealing with staff members in person.

just a thought.

good thought but Graal doesn't have that staff power (the time) to go and freeze accounts..
but yes of course, it's all do-able.
