The small things in lif...graal.

I always wanted a smallish RPG server like some other games (I'll never get around to making it x3...)
Not advertising them but I used to always play games like tibia and darkages longggggg ago besides graal, and each of them were very good games in thier own right with 2d, isometric-ish style. I R DEMAND SMALL GFX FROM YOU....nostalgic :3 |

Thing I've worked on that's my next Server concept, will work on it more when I got some more time (note: lights are animated images, really nice ambience) |

Why would you create a 16bit server? Seems more like laziness than a stylistic choice.

why is it such low res o_O the pixels are twice as big versus the character - it'll stick out like a sore thumb

I never got to see any screens of Crystia I think :(

Also... There is nothing lazy about that tile set. I especially like the chairs and flower :) I'm interested to know what your idea for the characters are... I'm assuming if the concept was taken further new sprites would be made with the same pixelated look? How would the animation go? Would everything be made, and then a portion of the screen permanently zoomed in to keep the size of the pixelation you have now? The characters edge would look odd otherwise. Aaand on a side note I've never heard of Crystia before. You talk about it like we already know the measure of each projects worth (though crystia does look interesting) |

If Elk and Angelu were to design a server.....it would be.......beyond compare.

Dev Clockwork was renamed Wartime, though that stopped when my main nat created half of every essential script, and then ran out of gold and wouldn't buy it for himself. After that, and attempting to hire new nats, (I had plenty...) no other nat seemed up to the job of working on the larger scripts that were half there, and thus Dev_Clockwork became Testbed rather than just sit and die. I still have wartime on backup, and might bring it back sometime, it was already well into the making, lacking a few scripts/gfx and a few battleground levels. |

Anyone remember playing 2d Zel*a :D
That was so much fun xD Has similar graphics to graal :) |

Graal started out as Zelda Online, but due to copyright issues Stefan (yes, he can actually do some half decent graphical work) had to redo almost the entire tileset. I'm sure you've noticed that the castle tiles are basically the same, as well as some other (small) resemblances that seem too eerie. Anyway, then the name changed to Graalonline. |
