Problem With Event and Gelat Weapons on Zone
 
I think the biggest problem with these weapons on Zone is the fact that when they are given to you or purchased, they can be used by ALL CLASSES. I think a lot of things went downhill playerbase wise on Zone when these types of weapons were added in this manner.

All the event and Gelat weapons should be placed into specific classes to balance them a little.

For example,

Commando would NOT recieve a weapon like Photon. Photon would obviously be placed in a much slower class.
Another example would be Plasmachaingun, that definetly belongs in a slower class.

For this to work, we would need to create a couple more classes obviously. But I can't see that being a huge problem.


What do you all think?

I don't think most of those weapons are available with ingame money, some are.

Referring to photon, bluerifle, redrifle, etc. If I recall correctly some of the weapons you buy with ingame currency were transferred to the gelat shop.

I expected these kinds of responses. I will be hoping to appoint a team to assist me in the testing/balancing of all the weapons.

Yes gelat weps are in all classes because you buy them with real money but doesn't mean this can't be changed to balance the game. Honestly I'd much rather a balanced game then one with just a commando using a plasmachain gun or commando with double shotgun

Gold ripper=Normal ripper class.

A medic with a god damn sniper. Have your brains been beat in way too much getting lamed?

Medics heal. Why the hell should they have sniper. If anything they should have a lighter weapon. You want to give any class the sniper do Marine or Commando but not medic.

That list sucks, and you should be able to use these weapons in every classe. You bought them with the god damn gelats and you shuold be able to use them good then.

I bought all the weaps I got AT THE MOMENT(and in future probably)
in shop long time ago
Not with gelats
with ZONE Money, wich isnt so easy to get(gelats you can buy)

The problem is that a gelat weapon is for every class because people have spent money to get the gelats but I am thinking that if they were class specific then it may give a broader range to the gelat weapons and people would still be apt to purchase gelats to get them.

How about:
Sniper = REMOVED! if not give it to heavy/sapper/(slow classes besides medic)
Just remove gold weapons e.g. gold apps? : wtf is the point of them....
Goopistol: heavy/sapper/ (slow classes besides medic)
Flamepistol: heavy/sapper/ (slow classes besides medic)

Like seriously what difference is it going to make if you put a weapon in a different class everyone will just find a new way to lame, it won't make a difference. It could also spoil your profits, as well as piss a lot of players off. If real money is paid for a weapon i believe all classes should have it, i just reckon make guns which aren't so lame? or make them earn them some how.

Also guns don't really matter that much if you have skill then you should be able to kill a plasmachaingun with a medic.

i agree with most of them except a few.

bluerifle should definatly stick to all classes.
why would a medic have a sniper?
why would a medic have a magnum?

Because, you only have apps in that class.

medics are fighting classes tho, appirces is fine for medic.

Hmmmm Event prizes are (actually were) extremely hard to get so i believe they should be included in every class, as well as ones who people payed real money for....

Like seriously... who cares if a medic has a sniper rifle what difference does it make if a heavy has it? they can always just fly away and snipe you, it wouldn't make a great difference if you move a gun to another class....

My advice would just to nerf some guns so they aren't as lame... thats all i can think of suggesting

Trader/Gelat weapons will be placed into individual classes. This will also include Jetpack. This is no longer debateable as it's to incredible of an idea.

Event Weapons I'm undecided on now.

You can watch... putting certain guns in certain classes won't change much, people will still end up laming with them.... it just be smarter to make the guns weaker much rather then give some overpowered gun to another class.

P.S. what difference will it make if you put magnums (just as a example) into e.g. marine or whatever other class, since i can basically play the same with it as a heavyinfantry as i can with commando. All you need to do is change the style of playing.
