Excatly What Zone (Iricia Is About These Days)
 

Seriously these days on Iricia nobody cares about anything besides kills, what ever happened to attempting to get a base?
Now its just go to the opponents base and shot them till they die and repeat, instead of flying/walking/driving to a base getting it then defending it.
Also when you do try get bases people on your team just end up going
OMG YOU NOOB DON'T TAKE BASES!
which is ironic since they are the ones being nooby, since they are straying away from the point of the game just so they can have some extra kills? and ruin other peoples time on the game.....

What can we do as a community do to bring back the real objectives of the game instead of plain out killing.

P.S i know that one of the points of a gun game is to kill but earning all your kills from laming just doesn't seem right...

P.S.S Planets are made for straight out killing are Deathmatch, Spar and Platform other then that the planets have a straight out mission which just isn't followed.

You're a little late on this issue. There is about 7 threads to try to stop base laming...

You are part of the base laming, as was I. It's always existed, it's just gotten extreme because of the community. Nothing really to stop it.

Always go on the same team, and just get bases/make your team win. Once they see someone is actually ruining the laming cause he takes all bases, end the games, the other team will go get bases to prevent losing again.

It all starts with 1 guy. If you're complaining cause of this, it's because you're part of these players laming, otherwise, you would have noticed how this trick works.

Lmao, If all enemy are on their hq, I dont go to b2 and wait for them.
And I don't care if I'm laming now.
Because I bought weps and gold for making kills and if I don't lame I bought my weps and things for nothing.

he will follow you trought all bases(if he want kill you)

How about you make a reason for people to capture and hold the other bases. Maybe some type of team reward like team points or something. They can be used towards a team only/iricia only weapon thats good for like a few days but only if your on that same team.

I dont think its impossible to bring b1fights back.
I am happy what ive done today ^^.

People can only play a map so many times before they eventually get bored with it, and decide to use it to obtain mass amounts of kills. People have complained about Zone since the times when I played, and I can tell (obviously) that people are still complaining about it now.

My advice: Stop releasing new weapons, and stop releasing new maps that are similar to the other maps. Zone is doing fairly well right now, but that doesn't mean that it's still a crummy server.

xD Jkool if you read this forum I was wondering what happened to getting points for your team winning a game on iricia and with those points you can buy items?

IDEA: Get points so you can use certain 'gold' weapons e.g. sci fi xD then these gelat noobs won't be laming all day with their gelat weapons.

I took like 52 bases and kept getting called a noob for the whole time xD, I should have gotten some money or exp for flying/running/biking around a map taking bases and killing anyone i saw along the way (more exp then from just killing)

I think I already posted about team points however you and I both know they won't include the gelat weapons. They are making money from it so why the hell would they change it to team points.

Well it was actually Jkool's idea to add team points so people would take bases and as for gelat weapons... a option for them is if you want straight out killing go Deathmatch, Gwars, Platform, Zone Wars or Spar, they are made purely for killing, there isn't too much of a objective on those besides stay alive and on Zone Wars kill the other teams power station thing, other then that its basically made for killing so use those planets for laming, instead of ones which have actual objectives.

Reward a unique type of currency for capturing bases on Iricia. This currency can be used to purchase unique items that can't be earned in ANY other manner.

Encourages people to capture bases.

and yet the people who say its a tragedy are the people inflicting most of the laming.... A example of this is most of the dutchies (Guild excluding Dan) claim they wish for baselaming to stop but who are doing the majority of it? Of course it couldn't be them since all they do is hang around at a enemies base and wait for them to spawn..

How about we stop playing the damn blame game. Its not just the "Dutchies" as people like to put it. Everyone lames. There are those few who are good enough not too and like to capture bases but the rest lame. Dont' blame those select few for what was being done before they even did it.

I saw Joris, Sasori is a dutchie i've seen him on tag plenty of times and i pointed you guys out since you are the main ones saying lets stop laming but yet continue to do it.

Guys I think the point is across that some of the players are part problem. Lets talk about what is wrong with Iricia and if it is the map or what some of the problems (Other than the players) are.

Don't bring up the point of a collectivity being the source of the problem again or your post will be deleted and as usual, don't reply to this post.

I think one of the biggest problem on iricia is the boxes... having them there isn't such a great idea since a lot of people end up blocking with them and using them for unfair gameplay.

Its hard to enjoy yourself when your opponents don't allow you to leave the base by blocking it with boxes.
I enjoy using boxes to make forts to but others use it to block off entry to bases and bunkers and etc.
