Ec

Events Coins are the rewards, when You win an event.
WIn, a lot of event, to get a maximum of EC, and then, use them in order to buy a weapon or an item in Event room*

So i tought That would be nice, if in this room, were a machine, on which we could change each EC in 1000$...
That could be helpfull, for players which don't need EC...(we can't sell them)

MOREOVER!

i tought, it would be nice, if about once a week, we could win a weapon, a car, a mask, any item ... instead of an EC

SO NOW...WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Paying for the EC kind of defeats the purpose of some of the rare items in the EC shop. Some of these items are meant to be difficult to get. You have to work hard for them and buying them gets rid of the drive of winning events.

1k per EC. Or any amount for an EC will end up setting a price for the rare items in the EC shop.

DuBsTeRmAn 02-12-2009 01:41 PM

You shouldn't be able to buy an Event Coin, But selling it sounds good.

CharlieM 02-12-2009 02:07 PM

There is a machine to sell ECs press F7.

DuBsTeRmAn 02-12-2009 02:12 PM

Wrong Charlie, You can't drop them.

I had 215 EC's the other day and if there was a way to sell them for 1,000$ each I would be 215,000$ richer, that just ruins the economy D:

If you have any ideas for event items feel free to share them ^^

Frankie 02-12-2009 05:03 PM

no.

ec's and ec items should be totally separate from era's economy in my opinion. you also shouldn't be able to buy items with the ec and then sell them for profit. doesn't make sense. you can't sell the ec but you can sell the items you buy with them. I tried to make all event items undroppable but people had a fit about it.

Shotoo2 02-12-2009 05:39 PM

When we first released the event coins, as Frankie said, they were intended to be part of a miniature economic system. They shouldn't mingle with the cash economy.

BlueMelon 02-12-2009 05:50 PM

Money and ecs are 2 different economy's. Except they join after the EC is used.

and I still support mine and nuada's idea that the ec shop shouldn't sell overpowered weapons like the flak and flame thrower.

The EC shop should never have had anything but novelty items. That was the original plan.

Releasing more money into the economy? Fantastic idea!
