I'm quitting.
 

I'm sure there are a whole handful of people who are going to take credit for this, but it's for a few big reasons that aren't about one person's actions.

Firstly, I've been doing this for so long it's not fun anymore. It was very fun working my way to the top, and hoping to change Graal for the better. However, I hit a glass ceiling, and the people in charge never talk to me. So, there goes changing the world.

Secondly, recently my personal information got leaked out... you'd think it was the Graal lottery. Everybody has disagreements with other staff when they work on a project, and sometimes I'm a ****, but the malice displayed by the community towards me after the leak told me it was time to go.

I'd like to think I've done some good things on Graal, and I know Graal has taught me a lot about working with people, and running teams. Those are skills I can take with me in life, even if gscript isn't a super resume builder.

Hopefully you all find the spirit again, that so many of the oldest players feel we've lost on our way, and you take a personal stake in making Graal better for everyone.

A special thanks goes to everybody who played with me and created the world we played on at N-Pulse, Doomsday, Delteria, and Graal2001. If any of you are left, say hello.

I'll check this thread now and again for people who want to stay in contact.

I've spoken to you privately. I admire your dedication up until the end to do your job and do it well. I hope good things things come in your life, as good things come to those who work. I appreciate your continued service while being a PWA and hope that should the opportunity arise with your problems becoming resolved, that you could return.

I'm ashamed that someone would leak your personal info on graal, that's pathetic of them and i hope they get what they deserve. Houdini i've always respected you and you've done a hell of a job for 5years hopefully you reconsider resigning at some point because you will be missed.

Yeah, only because the PWA team will turn into a team of yes men, and the horrible progression will continue.

Although we have never spoken, I remember you from Doomsday when I believe you had a house up in Eldaran, and you were staff one way or another (can't remember position, was what, six, 5 years ago?) I still recall seeing you walking around the best, for some reason.

I know that you were valuable to the community, and that some jerks decided to not care, well... I blame their parents for not raising them the way they should (Get a life, *******s!).

All I know is that you were a part of my classic graal experience (before DD went down, that was my classic graal, the rest is just a wave of crappy dev servers that I worked on) and that I will miss seeing your name pop up now and then. Since you are really a part of graal, I cant imagine you not around.

Have fun in what ever other game you are doing, and see you next week.

It's embarrassing and a real shame when people show so little respect for Graal staff.
This is why quite a few good people have left high positions.
You dont have to like someone to show respect for the work they do, or try to do.

It's sad to see you go, I mean, we had times were we talked and had fun... Well I did at least, when we enjoyed our talking time with you and Paul on the mic, like how you found enjoyment on chewing on the mic ><;;. But other times were not so good.. I'm sorry x_o;;

I know you feel unappreciated on Graal, but that's the way things are. You're the fearless one who isn't afraid of making the wrong choice, and that puts you in some tough places sometimes. Understandable.
I'll miss you, I hope someday you'll come back. Good luck on searching for yourself, maybe someday you'll end up back here.
