'Kay so I can't decide what logo to choose since I've made 3 of them

Here they are, please vote on the poll. YOU CAN HAVE MULTIPLE CHOICES !

I really like the other logos, but logo 1 is horrid because of the text overlapping the hat, making it unbearable to read the text.

I think logo 3 is the best...I put 2, because I didnt see the cloud well in logo 3, but when I logged on the server I realized it looks the best. ^-^

I hate them all. They don't really look bad, but goddamn, why a cloud on a pirate themed server? "becuz azure skiez". Yeah, that sounds retarded too.

3 is nice.

When I think of game about badass, manly, rugged pirates, I don't think of a pretty blue sky.

I don't think Graal can be described with any of those words, regardless of the theme of the server and before you come at me with some wisecrack regarding certain players, it's irrelevant and I'm not interested. Perhaps you should give something a little more constructive if you're going to post.

It was constructive, I voicing how pathetic the name was for a 'pirate' server. Rape and pillage are the last two words I would associate with azure skies.

Its because there floating pirate ships like flying

The font should probably be a bit larger - although one which is easier to read would help. Your kerning is pretty bad, they seem spaced too far apart. Try to unify the elements, right now it seems more like a bunch of stuff floating around the page.

Well from what I know, I dont think this thread is requesting that you voice your opinion on the server name.. so no, that is NOT being constructive. Thus, you should go elsewhere with your dumb witted remarks.:noob: As far as the banners go, I say use number 3 Soala.. ^^

Thanks for the votes ^^ Well yeah I like #3 pretty much, and for those who don't know the server will be based on flying pirate ships =P

At the moment I took this screenie I only made 1 logo so don't worry about it
And yeah, the boat will be bigger than that XD and needs alot of fixing. Scripting part is going well.

Don't use Logo 1. The text over the graphic doesn't look good at all.

logo 3, would be cool if you pixeled a little pirate ship though, and the text seems asian to me :S

Well yeah I'll fix the pirate hat a bit because I made it rotate to 30° so pixels gone wrong...

About the text, I used Shangai font, because it looks like to me someone been cutting trough something with his sword (just like the Z of Zorro !)

No. Soala changed from an RPG server to a Sky Pirate themed server when I came along. ;D It's going really well right now. [:

you really need to learn about constructive critisism, that was in no way constuctive.


I don't like any of the logos, they don't seem bad but i just don't like them,
also, when i think of pirates i don't think of a clouds, but of rough half naked men, ready to enter another ship with ropes, with a sword between their teeth.

that would be more appropriate for YOU to say.

i do like the logos, especially nr 3.
And the flying ship looks cool, especially the wings, reminds me a bit of maplestory airships tho.

i dissagree with it, especially the halfnaked men part ;).

The most important thing on the server are the ships, soala! Don't forget!
Customization of ships is an important fact you should keep in mind.
Making custom ship parts and the possability to modify ships and adding together pieces is a good option and the most simple :-)

Azure Skies is a very great name for a Pirate Themed server.
Pirates don't always rape and pillage...why so negative?
Being a pirate means being free! Exploring the wide "sky" in this case, finding other flying islands and treasures hidden in volcanos and caves!

I'll post the whole ideas for Azure Skies soon, once Jamie is done writing them =P

There will be questlog (big book) and treasures hunt ^^
