Zone Police
 

The last time, much of players are hacking or glitching.
But when that happens, repeatedly there is no staff online.

I think they should hire some players, who play much Zone and who are much online, as Zone Police. The best is to hire players from different time zones. And give him a tag (Zone Police), and rights to kick and lock. They can lock/kick players who glitch or hack, and call staff/admin.

What do you think ?

I agree there are so many people who are glitching ,hacking ,kill their own guest etc.

Suck it up and deal with it, its Zone. Non-development staff shouldn't even be active for a server thats failing.

I'd never play them, but according to what I've read on the forum, the other servers seem to fail just alike zone does. This mentioned problem here seems to be a general graal problem, but who wonders if the bugs and glitches don't get fixed somehow added to the rules as no-go.

Better don't hand out guns, they'll just shoot in theyr own knees.

Hm the only reson I can think of is that you like players who are hacking insulting and glitching.

What can I say without getting flamed. How about...who cares. They obviously don't care enough about the server to hire any if this is going on. So the players have two choices.

1) Put up with it and just play.
2) quit playing zone and move on to some other thing.

For much op new players, hackers/glitchers are anoying.
And new players are the futere.
And you dont play Zone right now, so you don't know the situaton ;)

i'm quite interested in your argument, because if you can find some players that can be trusted with zone police i think it would be great.
Because i'm affraid, It IS needed.
If you have a good argument i'd really like to hear it tho.

Jesper there has always been hacker/glitchers on zone..even when I played there. It was bad before i became GP (lets not go there) and obviously its bad now.

I can agree that its bad for newer players but there is nothing you can do about it if they won't hire a GP.

Either play or don't. Thats the only options.

Then instead of complaining on the forums when you know nothing will happen send in a support ticket or try to talk to Dan when he's online. If you haven't noticed this doesn't exactly work (complaining on the forums).

Newer players? Its the same damn people on every day.

You wanna know how you get your ticket to be responded faster? Complain on the forums.

I have a few problems with your post, and I'm going to address them.

First off, you refer to one specific instance in which there were hackers and a staff member is online. That is a horrible basis to judge a claim that there should be more staff.

My opinion would have to be that instead of actually wanting a staff member who can deal with the capabilities of a position, that you simply want for a position to be opened, because I believe you are simply out to get a job and want rights.

Will you please elaborate on what you mean by "call an admin"? I find that confusing. Do you mean the act of picking up a telephone? Do you mean message an administrator on the forums? Do you mean yell for help? (Which wouldn't be very productive other than to have your parents wonder what is wrong with you)

By admin do you mean an events team member, or dante, dan, Jesse?

I suggest thinking more critically. Here are the central issue that have been presented in this thread. Jesper is apparently claiming one instance of a staff member not being online when a hacker is on proves as a reason that more staff members should be hired. Hiring more staff members isn't always the best solution, as staff members can abuse.

The best idea if this is a consistent problem (Meaning it happens 5 or 6 times in a week or two) would be to ask the staff members to be online more. Players are able to message an administrator right now via the forums. If you PM me throughout the night, you should find that I will reply within a reasonable amount of time (Half an hour or hour) up until around 10 PM.

If a staff member is not logged in to the server, that does not mean they are not around. The staff member could be on a guest account watching for hackers.
