Should I, or not?!

Should I spend another 40$ on another 2400gelats and play more Zone?
In my opinion I am saying no, since Dan or Stefan won't reset my stats, which is the main reason preventing me from playing Zone ATM.

OR

Should I save up money so I can buy a good graphic card?

I mean, 40$ for Graal is VERY expensive, I mean it dosn't cost Stefan that much to hold up servers, does it?

Xterminator 12-26-2008 06:20 AM

Well if you still wanna continue playing Zone then go ahead.
But if your just bored and don't wanna play then go spend your 40$ on something else.

That's a pretty lame reason.

Actually if you consider they have to pay fees for servers & server usage, plus other monthly bills for their office. On top of that they have several servers running at once + electric bills. They also are trying to make profit off of Graal with the current amount of players that play Graal, which isn't enough to make much money off of.

It's not like they're getting rich off of Graal, and $40 for 8 months of playing time isn't that expensive. Competing game companies charge $15-25/m to play and they even have enough players to where they could charge $1/m and still make decent profit. So it's not asking much to charge $40 for 8 months of playing time, even if it does seem a little steep to the average consumer.

No.

Save your money for a graphics card.

Well if unix and stefan would hire some pro's to help stefan im sure the quality would be better but I don't think they even earn enough after bills to bring on another dev thats paid

It may be, but I just hate playing a game were I know people will just look at me and just comment on my crappy stats which is taking forever to build back up so it's not that bad.
If I had a K/D reset, it would be MUCH easier.

EDIT: Not to mention, why can't I get a stat reset but everyone else can? IXI got one, Dennis got one? Hmmm?

I hope you're aware of how you come across with this post. A business transaction is only made when both parties feel it is a good deal. The reason that Graal is not gaining a decent profit is because many people don't feel it's worth the cost, and is it really? The majority of players have lifetime Classic, and that is all they need. People who do upgrade are usually upgrading to play Zone or Graal Kingdoms and although I don't see what people like in Zone, paying 36 euros for 12 months access and two updates within that time is not worth it at all.

Graal is not a charity case, consumers take into consideration what is best for them when making a purchase, not how it would effect the business they're buying from so what kind of stupid reasoning is that? The prices for a Graal subscription are overly expensive for what you're presented with, what you've got to deal with, and the lack of appreciation you receive as a paying customer. Graal is ridiculously priced within the entire market, and there are many other free games out there to choose from. The pricing plans are not steep, they're extremely stupid.

Save your cash.

Get an Xbox 360 if you haven't already.

knightfire35 12-26-2008 09:46 PM

I would still get it. I think the Graal price is fair when looking at other
Mmos. But do what you want.

RevolutionJS 12-26-2008 09:49 PM

You better dont buy zone gold.
its money wasting, btw learn to play on a trial first before gradin up your not good enough now.

xXziroXx 12-26-2008 09:56 PM

I'd buy the Gold, and during those 8 months, save for a graphics card. Then you'll at least have something to play in the meantime.

WaDaFack 12-27-2008 12:16 AM

I have a 360 and live, but anyways.

I agree with Rufus, everything is overpriced. I mean another online game that can not be discussed on the forums has much better graphics and it's cheaper USD/CND. Graal has less people and not as good graphics, and cost more than another online game that can not be discussed on the forums?
Something's wrong? Rightrighright?

graal has lots and lots of sub standard yet unique gaming options aswell as a gateway for practicing development skills. its not just a crappy shooting game.
