I know that Dan said that if the event weapons arent permanent, they would be hosted off more often. that is SOMEWHAT true. in old Zone, every 3 weeks someone would host an event weapon off. the only difference is, that now its every 2 weeks and the same people are winning them over and over so they get 1 more month. if you win BPs 3 times, and only got them for 3 months, yet someone who maybe lucked out once won them forever, shouldnt we go back to permanent event weapons? i mean host of the other weapons every week, like gelat shop weapons that could last a month, but the event weapons should just go back to normal.

Currently, event weapons are far too common to raffle them off to be permanent, however that argument could go either way.

In my opinion, they should release multiple recolors of each event weapon, this way they won't be too repetitive but they will still establish the same statistics as before.

To add, winners of the last event will not be able to join the next event, this way more people have a chance.

Thus returning to the problem, everyone will have event weapons.

why not just host off event weapons every few weeks instead of hosting every 2 weeks and hosting 2/3 off. just host off 1 every few weeks and host off Shop weapons (Gelat Shop).

Hosting event items every few weeks is a good step, but that will still lead to everybody having RP's, BP's, and reapers (Or whatever other event items are out there).

If you have multiple recolors of each weapon, than it would take people that much longer to collect each event item.

actually, no it wouldnt. good players will get new accounts over time, and will end up probably having 1 or 2 alternate accounts with an event weapon on them. i mean Zone had perm event weapons for what? 4 years?

Accounts = Cost money

When you won 3x Bluepistoles/RPs/Reapers you get them perm?

there are big events being hosted every weekend. if you got some skill, one weekend you can win a event wep.

ohh. well i think the system used right now works fine... if you want to achive a weapon through an event, attend to it and use it for an entire month!, then if you liked it you can try getting it again next month... or so :o

We host 2 or 3 events weekly. But I schedule when each weapon gets hosted, so by the time their hosted again the previous ones I've given out have likely wore off (since they last 30 days).

Agreed. Zones playercount would take a BIG hit if Event Weapons were made perm again.

I think event weapons should be raffled off less often, yet events of different sorts should make more appearances.

If they can't win they obviously do not deserve the weapons. Wouldn't you agree? You're suppose to get event weapons to show off that you have some skill. If you suck you don't really deserve them.

Event weapons are hosted every week. Its usually always Deathmatch, why can't it be a race sometimes? A spar tourney? A lava event? Can we do some other things occasionally?

No, what I am trying to say is that Zone should include multiple events similar to other servers.

I remember awhile back, Jesse had an idea similar to an "Alien vs. Predator" style map, which would be very popular if you turned it into an event. Events don't always have to be for high-octane prizes.

and it`s a good idee to host other events for prize`s, but a (jump)race is to easy i think, always the same poeple win those events

No, you keep doing the event until each team only has a few players. Than, the winning team will compete in a death match.

You're missing the point.

New events might attract more people. You're not playing a death match to being with, you're playing a much more fun event.

Most people lose Deathmacth for rare weapons because of the amount of players in there.... It laggs tons of players. Other events that won't lagg me would be nice.... coughcoughSparTourneycough*

and on more then one occasion ive been teamed by a few trials... if they cant win them why bother letting them in the event!?

Get a better computer.
You should be able to kill them anyways. If you can't beat a few teamers you don't deserve the event weapon.

Someone's been playing too many racing games.

As for the teamers, the ETs tend to know what they're doing. If an event is hosted and teaming isn't allowed, go to an ET or just run if you're getting teamed. If you have tried this, and the ET is nonresponsive, you're either not trying hard enough to get their attention or you need to make a complaint. Don't sweat it, sometimes things like this happen once in a great while. If it becomes a reoccuring matter, though, make it known to the ET staff.

The complaint response will be "Tough luck kid, nothing we can do about it. Maybe you should go to the ET next time"

You more then likely faught... 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1 vs 1...... (which would be 7 person free for all)
