Iricia Perm-Speeder Spawn Points?
 

Should there be a permanent Speeder spawn point made at Storm Rider/Sweep Fleet HQ? See picture for what Speeder looks like.
-It has the ability to Fly with D and Shoot rapidly with S.
-It has 100HP
-It can be hit by Taserbombs, Streamers D Shot and Electron causing it to Freeze like other Vehicles.

Are you serious? This is ridiculous. I know the game play has never been achieved but we don't need it to be this lame and to deteriorate to this point. Where is the real Jesse and what have you done with him?

Speeders should not EVER be enabled on Iricia. Here is my reasoning.

The speeder deteriorates the game play.

How does the speeder deteriorate the game play?

Bikes already deteoriate the game play significantly. Speeders would only further this because of their ability to fly over walls. Walls present some obstacles to bikes that speeders do not. They limit the flow of motion not allowing them to reach the base.

Jetpacks are used to capture the bases then. Bikes compared to speeders, speeders would be much more efficient at this, and they have weapons. Speeders ability to elevate allows them to fly over the walls that stop bikes, basically acting as a built in jetpack.

Base laming is already a problem, added in with speeders it would be disastrous, alienating Zone players. It would make Zone unfriendly to new players, because they could warp into a map and see this flying thing (Speeder). What would happen? The speeder would kill them. They'd get mad and try to get them back. They'll say,"Oh wait! I can't kill this?! Why should I keep on playing??"

The players are not represented fairly in this poll, and you would be fool to believe otherwise. The in-game polls, are polls from the players that can send PM's, and know how to.

Many of the trials do not know how to send PM's which makes the information presented by your in-game polls next to useless. Combined with the fact that they are the ones who would be most impacted by this decision, it is incredibly unfair to propose this because of their unfair representation.

Speeders have been used in game play before. They were used on the Zone Wars map. Because of the difficulty in killing them, even with a beam, they were removed from the map. Can't you learn from the past to help build a foundation upon which we can use in the future? It was not a mistake in the past, they thought their arguments through.

You may be in a panic because of the lower playercount, but making the player's happy today doesn't mean they will be happy tomorrow. They are as happy as they make up their minds to be, and I believe content could be much more encouraging to earn and keep players than to give them overpowered vehicles.

Our efforts should be focusing on new content, not introducing vehicles that are overpowered to the game scaring off our few players.

It also is not common sense to some players that blue light, AKA electrons, and streamers freeze and disable vehicles.

If you put the speeder on Iricia I will never post on these forums again, however that may be less of a deterrent to some people.

Remember I think Jesse just wants to find a USE for it other than just events. Any help would be appreciated.

agreed, but still make speeders more vulnerable...or make some sort of weapon that when detects a speeders it follow it and hits...(rockets or somethin)

I didn't vote yes? I wanted the opinions of certain players and wanted to see the majority. What better way to gather this information then a poll?
