Does "Mousing" Bother You?
 

This thread, very similar to my other one, asks if clicking mouse to shoot (mousing) bothers you. Please vote appropriately, and again I will poll in-game players as well to get all the population.

Yes because I'm a cry baby.

Why should it annoy a player that someone uses 'mousing?' It's a computer game. You shouldn't get your undies in a bunch.

A lot of people seem to have an issue with it, I don't get upset at it or anything, I just see it as sort of overpowered.

Doesnt bother me at all, i still kill them :p

i cant mouse / nor do i know what it is, so i dont care

You are free to do it to as well.

There is no reason someone shouldn't use something that was added to the game to their advantage. That's what it's meant for.

Just to clear this up, mousing is the act of using the mouse to shoot instead of pressing space, a, s, or d. Mousing is enabled by default and can be disabled by going to the shop, and unclicking the Mouse box in the upper right hand corner of your screen. It is right by the help guide.

Just wondering.... Isnt there already about 2 other poll/threads about mousing? Okay well, doesnt hurt to say it one more tim..... DOES NOT bother me. =)

it doesnt really bother me, i think it bothers other people because of the fact that all the 'mousers' need to do is hold down the mouse button and direct it over to you.

This probably comes from the same people that whine about strafing.

There isn't a way anymore to mouse-lame. So how can it bother anyone? The only way it can bother people is that it just exists in the options list. If it doesn't bother you anyway this thread neither makes sense.

Lol, people who vote 'yes' are just butthurt that new players have a better chance and can actually fight back now, and that kills aren't as easy to get.

In my opinion, it's slightly more of a challenge when people use their mouse, so I enjoy fighting them. Also in my opinion, I think the threads about mousing are stupid.

It does bother me to the point that it is *one* of the reasons why I left Zone, and haven't returned.

for some reason when i have mousing checked off, it doesnt do anything. its just the same as when i have it unchecked

If you click on the screen it will equip the weapon but will not shoot it. With mousing enabled the mouse fires the weapon when you click.

yeah, but it does that even when its not equipped. and when it is equipped it doesnt do anything when i click

Clicking will enable the weapon (If you are or are not using mouse click)
For which weapon does mouse click not work to fire when mouse clicking is enabled? My guess would be that you do not have mouse clicking enabled since I helped you to disable it before, unless you changed it back.

no, i checked last night and it was enabled for a long time. it doesnt work on every weapon for me- itll just equip and unequip
