lighting effects
 

I cannot see lighting effects. I have them enabled. I jave direct x enabled. and i have the latest version of direct x. Is anyone else alo experiencing this problem?

Get a better video card!

well i am using the one that came with my computer but its mnot that old...... its a 700 mghz HP pav.... the card is accually quite good : /

Any details on what kind of card it is? At least it's a fact that Graal doesn't support any Voodoo cards...

the thing that really bothers me is my cousin has an older version of the same card and the lighting effects work perfect on his comp >.<

i can see lighting effects with my voodoo card.
really laggy though
and if i max screen to get rid of lag it makes the lights all blocky

I cannot see lighting effects at all. All I see are just big black balls of some sort where they should be.

Several people are... including me.
Telling ya I:
downloaded DX8
got a semi-new driver that was the most expensive thing available asides the overpriced vodoo
updated my driver
screwed with every option available
turned on DirectX8 features(of course)

... yet I still can't get the lights to work... well... day and night works... up untill I run into said lights...

I've used a similiar feature in a game called Faldon so I know exactly how much this stuff lags folks. Heck I was able to use Faldon's when I got my card...
