Here's an idea I got to stop base laming. As you know, you can teleport to base 1 while on iricia map. Instead of just being able to tele there in the map, why don't they put a tele to b1 in dropship? What they should do is put a "B1" tele in the dropship next to the regular tele thingy. That way if the team being lamed (usually storm riders :P) can tele to b1. I don't know if it will work but it will certainly cause a fight for b1 like old times, which were certainly fun.

Buy Gernades. Spam them mindlessly at your foes. kill 1 or 2 and get about 200-300 exp.

It may not have occurred to you, but not everyone on Zone can purchase gelats to get what was once a free item.

I like the idea, well done Conor. Perhaps the teleport could be placed to the south of the trader? Once of the huge target NPCs would have to be removed, of course.

Also, before you have chosen a team you cannot view what team has which bases so a sign above the teleport itself should say who has possession of base 1.

Oh and please, if this is ever done (Which it bloody well should be), just a note to the staff. Don't go crazy with this idea and think it would be neat to have teleports to every base. It sounds like something they would do and it would totally screw Iricia up even more.

I think this idea might work. I only have one question. What if your team doesn't already have base one? Does that mean you can warp to it all the time?

First of all, this is Conor. I couldn't log in to darksage15 for some reason but now I got it to work :P. Anyways, yeah that's something I forgot to mention. If let's say Sweep Fleet to teleport to b4 or b5, that would be a huge disaster because then it would make it easier to go to the other team's base and maybe start base laming again. People should only be able to teleport to base 1, not any others.

Rofl, yeah they can do that but it would require a lot of people on Zone (no one's ever on Zone anymore x_x) and teamwork, which almost no one on Zone has... Plus people would probably get bored at b1 if no one is spawning there and go to the other base.

Eh, does take teamwork. Which friends can do.. Which is unlikely. Anyhow have you ever seen a motar at base1? o;.

Guys, I'll tell ya u a secret, u can't stop it... Lame = Zone, its the cold hard truth. So, learn to deal with it, as a **** load of players before u have. ;(

If you're talking about 2007 and onwards then yes but Zone wasn't always about laming.

Yeah its me, I use "u", and "r", and crap to save me time when I type, sorry. I been usin' AIM a **** load to talk to Cara and crap, when I can't see her, its a habit I started.

@Crono: I know what u r saying, but Zone has always had lame, just wasn't a big problem, until, a few weapons were released and the new generation of players came.

I'm pretty sure if we add this idea it will reduce base laming... Can't we give it a try?

Any server has laming but yeah, Zone didn't revolve around laming like it does today.

I do what Googi used to do when he played in 06ish and only capture bases. It forces people to play the damn map instead of base laming all day.

I loved pipebombing my friends (Including you) just for kicks and then fly away on a jetpack to piss them off. Everyone kissed and made up 5 minutes later anyway. I could go on for hours just piping friends to keep them on their toes. ^^
