lolol, now that i'm back: MAC RC

Ok before you do iPhone Graal you can't take the time to just develop an, even limited feature, Macintosh RC? That old old one doesn't work on intel Macs, and I'm running parallels just to use RC (which lags my whole computer). Anyone, please develop a Mac RC :D

The scripted RC will be much improved in the next version which is released for both Intel and PowerPC Macs.

Sounds good, hopefully that is not too far off.

As long as we're on the topic, how about that level editor?
Online one was too laggy to use.
Scripted RC was as well, but if you say that's getting improvements, I suppose we can wait :p

The scripted RC is pretty amazing in the new version of Graal; I don't know if Stefan has a new version I haven't seen, but, with external windows, the current one is pretty nice. I'll make a video showing the external windows in a bit, right now my RC is locked to my Windows PCID

I want to help test it so badly :p

The text is still a miss though. It doesn't feel as 'accurate', I guess you could say, as actual text boxes.

Yeah, I agree. Lags behind a bit, I noticed on the old version if you typed too fast it could get the characters messed up (in the wrong order)

Does it lag less in other areas? I'm thinking of loading it on my G4 and seeing how much the performance differs on an Intel machine.

It's not really lag. It just feels different than standard text boxes that operating systems use.

Basically, typing and text boxes are the same as they are now.

It'll be much better on any PPC Mac, unless you have the new Intel version (I have the beta one, it rocks).
