Filter or no filter?
2 Attachment(s)
I was bored and decided to take the filter from Four Swords on the GC and script it into my server. Rebuilt a quick scene from Zelda Link to the Past just for this. The filter works on the gmap perfectly. I will probably add another filter for the clouds that flow by like on FS.
2 People I asked didn't like it, so I might just scrap it. What do you think? |
It looks like it's going to be mostly annoying unless you only use it in certain environments where it adds to the visual effect.
doesnt look good, if you want to use a filter then please make some clouds shadows that are moving
Is it possible to make it lighter so that its more of a subtle grass effect?
Ur shadows are more colorful then the sunny parts, that looks weird.
Try a little more opacity?

Ok I lessened the intensity. Im not really liking it anymore.
Can you make it even more subtle? Just wanna see how it would turn out.
Filters as usual are far too uniform and repetitive..
A subtle grass filter, and maybe some moving cloud shadows would be pretty cool.
I love the image on the left. The shadows give it some nice depth. I think the addition of other elements will definitely work to improve it.
i like the retro version without filter :O
Use the filter. It'll be great to see people with Pentium II's cry again. Lord knows Graal needs more detail.
