yes, I believe it still costs 5 gelats to be able to trade.

Define "a LOT".

There is still a 5 gelat fee for trading for the player who recieves the card, basicly for preventing that people get stuff who never bought anything. You can trade a lot of cards at once though without additional fees. Also we have added now a system of card stacking (depending on the card type and how much time it has), so it should be easier to find and trade cards.

I don't know exactly how much, but it will cause people to upgrade again for sure.

I figured the reason they switched to gelats was so people would be more tempted to buy things like this, and waste their gelats so they will have to reupgrade.
