Than you see the proxmines better! And than its more fair!

Possibly, you could make it so you cannot place more than one mine (stacking) in the radius of the mine's explosion. That will make it so mines will not kill in one hit, and that people cannot spam mines in one area.

Liked your movie, Phoenix, by the way.

A old idea, that was suggested is to make them have little "bump" effects in the Snow, so people can have a chance but people that are careless and not paying attention can still die.

Proxy mines are fair. If you do not want to be killed by them we have a special weapon for that. The Mine Detector! If you don't like it you could always be "cheap" too.

Yeah the whole thing about me saying mines "suck" was part of a joke. It`s all just for a couple laughs really... although the mine detector is only useful when you already know their are mines, or when you are paranoid and expect them. Some kind of pre-warning may help (like the bump in the snow idea). Other than that, it`s really just an effective weapon that is rather fair, because anyone can use them.
