Gold Subscription Event
 

Figured I would put this here as i don't have a exact date.

Date: somewhere between June 27th and July 1st (keep an eye on forums for exact date)

Time: will be determined but probably around 1pm est which is 19:00 servertime.

Event: Blade Wars on DM (means NO BARRELS)
Useable weapons: combatknife,plasmasabre,muramasa
class: Sapper (Plasmasabre)/Light Infantry (Muramasa)
Rules:no running.
no hiding.
no teaming (1 vs 1 vs 1 i ok).
healing allowed till final four.
NO BARRELS.
Any gelat trading will result in a lock and if continued a ban.
Final four WILL go to the central bunker to do final battle.

Prize: 1 year paid gold subscription.

I will pay for the one year gold on your account that you use.

Other stuff to know: I will not tell golds to not attend because you will just get a trial and take part but i would like to see a trial at least win this.I will not "give" the prize to anyone else. If you win it then you win it. Its yours plain and simple.

We will do this through "Send Gift Wish". I will pm the winner with my email address so they can send the gift wish for the 1 year zone gold subscription (please note that the email address i will provide is different then the one i have in profile).

2nd event (for 2nd 1 year paid gold)

Event: Combatknife on Platform
Rules: healing till final two, no hiding, no running, 1vs1vs1 is ok but no teaming

Please note this will take place the same day as the other one and although staff aren't allowed to take place in the first one they are allowed to take part in this second one.

Any questions or concerns just post. No flaming please.

Just out of curiosity is there a means of getting gold subscription with gelats? If so it may be a reasonable alternative while equally valuable.

Well, I think I have insights others may not. Raven is far short from the wealthy income area and I'm sure he has bills to pay. Donating this money is very kind of you. :)

The one bad thing is that obviously that the same people who win the red pistols and blue pistol events are gona win this.

Actually for this event I will be asking that no ET take part. I am not doing this for them I am doing this for non staff.

Now I wonder just how many of the other ET's i made mad.

They probaly will be mad but it is the fairest thing to give other players a fairer chance.

Also, will it be like DM with everyone on the map at once, or more so sparring with 1 on 1?

Throwing knife = combat knife, but not "melee" by definition

Which is why I'm asking, carrot is not a gelat item, so I don't see why it would be disabled, I'd like to have this cleared up.

Gold mura = muramasa, and some people have it that it is just a graphic swap, not an actual new weapon with new stats. If someone thought it was just a recolor, they would hope to enter the event using it unless it was cleared up by Raven that it was different. No need to try and be a smart ass when most of Zone's players can't even master plain "smart"

@poodles: its actually for w/e account ur using. So if ur out of gold on ur main then win with it. I am not giving a new account. Just paying for 1 year gold for someone.

Woot, I can still play! No but seriously, I will probably not partake I already have a years gold, I'm not great with Melee, and I don't think I'll be able to be on.

This sounds very nice, although you better do IP Checks on the winner, just in-case they share, wouldn't want to pay and then realize you gotta ban them, and the prize goes to waste.

I am sorry but I just had it pointed out that they changed their subscriptions yet again and i checked the price and its like $38 for me per. I won't be able to afford either now. I am extremely sorry. I really did want to do this.
