Playerworld Sponsorship

I am currently in the process of renting a server, all costs of rent and so forth will be paid and funded by myself.

I am currently seeking a manager who wishes to create their own server and would be interested in developing a server. Please post below, or contact me at AIM: DeveloperXY, for further information.

Pimmeh 05-06-2008 09:33 PM

Stop, dont pay yet!
You should pay after you got a plan!

The server will be purchased initially for developmental purposes. I have sufficient funds to rent the server as long as needed, a plan as well as skilled developers will be recruited, or adopted in due time.

You only have three posts, which are in this thread.

So ... is this some kind of scam? That would be my guess, as you're coming out of nowhere.

A warning to anyone going to do this:

If you upload your stuff to his server, he can and probably will take it and fire you.

Why are you doing this? How does it help you that you are paying for a server so that others can develop on it? Is it so you can scam them? Or so you can abuse once it's up? Or what?

You might be right Chris but it is possible that he just might be wanting to help someone out and/or wants to see a successful server. Most don't know though that the lack of having a server isn't usually the reason a server isn't successful on Graal.

I know, he could be legitimate, but frankly I've seen enough of these scams from working on UC servers.

At least "Jigga" is not anywhere in his account/community name.

He wants to be someone who owns a successfull server maybe? If someone uploaded a few levels to his server and then he fired them how would he get more stuff?

Darklux 05-07-2008 02:09 AM

Its a temptation but I would never do that, as I would loose my rights to you.

It's seriously a nice idea, but rather create a server with your friends and have fun developing! :)

It'd be as simple as simply waiting for you to finish or get very far with it. No ill-will against the guy, but people like Jigga do it a lot and it's an easy way to steal stuff.

Ok, I sponsor a server and then steal everything once its complete. A month later the players want new content. How do I get it? You can't get it...

DustyPorViva 05-07-2008 03:09 AM

Obviously you hire people. Also, just because people steal content doesn't mean they can't add onto it... most of the time they can't, but some people could just be lazy.
Either way, it's not impossible to carry on a stolen project.

MysticX2X 05-07-2008 03:10 AM

Wow a lot of people know how to bring someone new here down...You can tell him the flaws to his idea but i dont think 10 posts of it is necessary..

*COUGH* Utopia *COUGH*

I was just pointing out to be careful as it is very likely this could be a scam.
