Uhm yeh, what do you think of my cliff tiles i made?? :D

first cliff tiles i ever made.. there for coronia, i reckon i could still improve on it tho. maybe the top of it im suggesting... hmmm..

anyway. what do you think????

Not really sure how well those things would tile. But as for the quality of the tile itself.. I rate it a 6 out of 10.. It highly lacks any sense of depth. Instead of cliff tiles it almost looks like it would be used as a stone path tile or something of that sort.. I would recommend trying to shade it to make it more top-down perspective like. But other than.. its rather good for your first time making cliff tiles, keep up the good work! ^^

Will they work in a level? :o

I think some change in color could help.
Also, your dithering has no order or benefits to the piece. It just looks really messing.

That many colors didn't exist when the NES came out. And it looks nothing like Mario, or any NES game. They don't even bring to mind any SNES games.

DustyPorViva 04-18-2008 02:52 AM

Needs more diagonal.
