So lets just all get together and just post the images of these lame bugs we find. Sort of like these ones...

I see these sort of bugs every now and then, some more then others. They are rather funny, while some are just plain lame.

xAzerothx 04-12-2008 03:40 AM

How is the last picture a bug?

kia345 04-12-2008 03:43 AM

They can't normally have negative constitution. I believe when it hits zero, it should die.

Found some more to post... I have more but I can't find half of them XD. I'll make new and post more if I find them XD.

**Ones I cannot find include horses swimming instead of standing while ontop of a dock/boat and a few others horse related things that probably need to be addressed. Including being immortal from all attacking npc's while on horseback.

** Also blocking bomboria trade with various items / spells of which need a way to be destroyed, and a few that need to be destroyed by specific things.

*prays for the ghost of buttercup*

yeah there's probably more bugs too.

interesting.. I was getting at GK bugs but that still fits as a "lawl bug" as it could easily be for GK and do that same problem.

DustyPorViva 04-12-2008 04:22 AM

Oh... don't be so discriminative. Let us all laugh at silly weird Graal bugs.

You don't have the new version of Graal with external windows, do you? That's one of the bugs in the new version.

DustyPorViva 04-12-2008 05:17 AM

Nope,
I was using the old editor.

I don't see how some of these pictures show a bug to be honest.

Right about the forest castle, remember who made it and realllly wanted it to be uploaded even with this problem of the lights. Somehow this person was the only one able to see these lightproblems and noone else of the debugstaffs.

The castle insides had a problem once with v5 because the scripts were bugged and were setting "alpha" to wrong values, but those scripts have been fixed except some older version got copied into them again.

The thing with following horses swimming is normal though, would be too much work to make them walk on top of the ships.

Really? The must be in Zormite too, because our castle does the same

For the purpose of constructive argument, the horses swimming is fine, but the problem is that ships cannot move if horses are following a passenger, and the ship life % slowly goes down when this happens.

Also, someone should post the bug of boarding from ferry docks. It's not something that can be easily shown in a screenshot, but it makes me very frustrated when trying to board ferry boats.

Even your "fix" for the alpha did not work properly. I would know I spend a few moment in the castle answering pms somedays.

no big deal, I'll just find more for you boys to look at.

Do level bugs counts? XD know theres one or two right next to Brigids altar from when they put the uhm.. "nub" island back into the game.

Anywho guess what I gots...

I made sure I was not the only one that could see this exact problem ok. So its not just my client, its others as well.

The script being used there on those lights have been around on GK since well.. before Version 3 was even thought of. As it is, every shipyard had that same script coding, only difference in the forest castle ones is the size and the color codes so they look yellows and greens ..and the occasional blues so its never really the same.

cbk1994 04-15-2008 07:17 PM

How are the light effects hard to fix?

Put them on the light layer, and change the alpha.

Unless I'm missing something?

kia345 04-15-2008 10:25 PM

Daya, would the light effects really be a bug for Stefan? We have rights to change our castles, just change the light script.

Actually the bug is not the scripts but within the V4 (5) client itself. They bugs never were a problem until they came out with the new "v4" 5.0.0.0 (curently using 5.1.2.0) as far as I know. The same script has been around for a very long time and isnt even my coding. To make matters worse Stefan has put all those scripts into a join command which makes it impossible for someone like.. oh me.. to actually change it.

Also debug is giving me hell when I want to actually do things like oh.. debug these scripts. Its client side, the rc itself works while the client says "the account has been reset" and then disconnects you.

**Its these stupid bugs that nobody really needs to fix but should anyways, thats actually slowly killing gk, along with the lake of any real updates and weekly events.
