Graal Kingdoms Video Contest
 

Graal Kingdoms will be holding a video contest. The purpose of the contest is to help promote Graal Kingdoms on YouTube and to generally have fun. The winner of the contest will receive an event prize on the main server (to be announced later).
The contest will be over on Friday, April 11th and begins now. Your purpose is to create a nice story or video quest to upload to YouTube and on to these forums. Voting on who is the winner will be held on Saturday, the 12th. The winner will be announced later that week. If you need any help mixing videos you may contact me via forum PM.
Try to be as creative as possible, the most creative video will get a prize as well, even if they don't win the voting.

Old video with bad quality is old with bad quality. But I found it in my videos folder, spent an hour finding a decent converter, only to have Youtube ruin the quality even more. It'd probably have been easier to just make a new video. Anyways, it's an emotional, heart wrenching tale of my ship's final hours.




Also, I just noticed the knife as my mouse. Hot.

Pojo, that video captivated my heart so much that I couldn't even bare to finish watching it.

The idea is good, but we need to work together to improve those videos. The text is not really visible, so it would be to good to display it with some filter on top, also at the end the ship explodes but we don't see it, so we should append a video which is showing the explosion. With programs like Movie Maker or Kino it's not that really that hard. I might take part in the contest :D

We should wait on this event until the next release is made for Graal Kingdoms. If you ask people to just take videos for prizes you A.) don't motivate them to put any effort into it & B.) Don't get them excited.

Perhaps incorporate it into the next big release, "<this> is being released, and we invite you to shoot videos of all of the fun for cool prizes!"...

I was thinking about pking the crap out of the server, taking a video of it, and winning many internets.

You'll need to get other people in bmode.

I was going to record me doing a 5 Brutals, that's something someone new would see a lot of.

Here's my video, it's a little RP story of my character saving the Dustari castle from a Unholy Beast invasion! Shows off quite a few aspects of the game.. horses, Personal housing, Crafting, Kingdom Castle as well as the different kinds of armor new players will see, though it's kind of hard to see inside the house because uploading it on youtube kinda lowered the picture quality...

if i made a movie it would kick everyones ass. but my hardrive just died so i cant go on my actual comp

btw to that last video, i dont think people want to play a game where they can kill 200 monsters without even getting touched, or a game where you run faster on foot than you do on your horse

what editting did you do exactly, tig? add a song?
