Application:- Meeeeeeeeeeee!!

1) Introduce yourself. Who are you? What do you do? Where are you known? Why do you play Graal?

I'm Sidney! I'm 19 years of age, I'm still a youth and also a teenager! I do alot of crazy things in my spare time, such as go to the pub. I work in a call center as part of the Customer Relations team. I'm known locally in my area, as a pretty and sweet woman. I make people laugh quite alot, I don't know how I manage to do that, I thought that being pretty would get me far in life but being able to make people laugh gets you alot futher! :D

2) Experience with "online-only" staff teams, including playerworld work here on Graal.

Well, upon being new to Graal I don't know much about it. However, I do own my own world which I don't do anything on! I suppose that's experience, although I'm the only person that's staff there! I rate myself as 10 as being a staff member, as I'm always there! he he
I do however maintain the CR department in the call center that I work. We don't receive any emails as we're based on the phones.

3) Assuming you have piqued our interest with your qualifications, what makes you stand out as an applicant?

I'm sexy. Although this is true, don't let it fool you! I'm also smart, I just choose not to show it very often. Being blond makes life so much fun, believe me!! Maybe it's my sense of humour that'll make me stand out more than the other applicants. I don't think it's a bad thing in life to have a sense of humour, it's good for the soul!!;)

4) What is your education level? Are you employed? What ammount of time can you dedicate to Graal-related duties each day?

You've spelled "amount" wrong. It only contains one "m"!
I work as with three other people in the CR team in a call center.
I'm on the internet most of the day whilst I'm at work. I can do alot of duties that the PA team do on a daily basis.

5) What do you see that needs changing in Graal's playerworld policies?

No comment, as I've not yet actually read them

6) Show us some examples of your good judgement in certain situations.

Thanks!:):D:)

Interesting application? o.o

Dunno what to say.. I like your personality tho :p xD

grawlgamer 03-14-2008 08:50 PM

Sidney 4 PWA!

Crimson2005 03-14-2008 08:54 PM

Best. Application. Ever.

Darlene159 03-14-2008 09:15 PM

Um, I am thinking you may need more experience on Graal, but I think you know that.
I would even wager that you arent even aware of what PWA even do.
You really should know what you are applying for, before applying x.x

I do like your bubbly personality though. :)

You also might want to read up on the forum rules. ;)

Tigairius 03-14-2008 09:43 PM

I can only see this application as being a joke, and it worked. It made me laugh, and I enjoy your personality. You spelled "judgment" wrong, it doesn't contain an e after the g! ;)

Goes either way, and I believe she uses all those 'colour' spellings etc.

And no, you need way more experience before being PWA.

Which playerworld is yours. This one should be interesting to watch develop.

DustyPorViva 03-15-2008 04:07 AM

Are your keys sticky or something(don't elaborate, please), as a lot of the characters in your words seem to go on and on.

I've only ever seen it correctly spelled as "judgment." In modern-day English and most dictionaries it's listed as judgment.

From what I've seen, you're awesome and you work at an Adult Chatline? I'd give you my vote.

"Judgement" works too. Its a valid form of spelling the word and its not incorrect.

But you lost my vote as well.

....

j/k... this isn't even an election anyways. Not to mention the application process requests opinions of other staff members, which I have not been since my days on James205's Shaded Legends server... as a GP x.x

Elizabeth 03-24-2008 04:22 PM

you need way more experience, and need to stop focusing on yourself so much and how you think you're "sexy"
you also put how you were smart in your application, when you spelled a lot of words wrong.
also i dont think putting that you were "sexy" in your application will help, also, dont put that on your application for a real job in "the real world" ..whatever that is.
also dont pluck your eyebrows so skinny ;p

She has a valid point, for the most part. Insulting her isn't going to change her mind either.

Forgiven 03-24-2008 06:52 PM

This application made me laugh. Good job, Sid.

are you old enough to even spell?
because from the looks of it you can't.
im 14, the age limit on graal is 13.
you fail at insulting.

by "she" do you mean sidney, or me?

What a mature assessment of criticism in your own application.
Really, who's the little girl?

xAzerothx 03-24-2008 10:03 PM

Spelling incorrectly doesn't mean you're stupid.

how are you going to get anywheres in life if you can't spell correctly?
what about job applications?
you could spell something wrong, and it could be a completely different word and meaning, and the employer/person reading it would think that you're daft.

xAzerothx 03-24-2008 10:12 PM

You're jumping to conclusions if you judge someone on their grammar. I understand if they're sending in an application to a big corporation. What if the person used spell checker on their own speech just to look smart. They get the job and it blows up in there face. The person who was messing around and wrote poorly didn't get the job but it turns out they would of been a great asset to the company.

Elizabeth 03-24-2008 10:15 PM

well for the common sense part, why would you even send in an application to a big corporation that was poorly mispelled? of course you're going to use spell check, you'd probably be working with computers so you could use spell check on the computers. corporations also have dictionaries there for a reason

Stop arguing about the grammar and spelling now guys. It gets old. Point has been made.

Why should that matter?

McDonalds is probably the biggest food-service corporation in the world.
