Hello Zone players!

There's a special event starting now, ending this sunday (2nd of March 2008).

Zone is having a video competition. We are looking for creative videos to show on the website. We would like for the videos to be the best possible videos that can be created. To help encourage this we are giving out several prizes to the top 3 finishes in this contest. We will be announcing what the prizes are at a later date. The videos should be uploaded to youtube. The videos are limited in time limits. The maximum length for one video is 5 minutes. The minimum length is 30 seconds. You are allowed to submit as many videos as you like but you may only take one place (1st, 2nd, 3rd).

Remember, We are looking for the best quality videos so make sure to work very hard on these. And remember if you come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd you may have the chance to walk away with a new weapon on Zone!

I didn't know if there were rules...I already got an awesome video idea.

Yes probably ok, some good game sounds will be nice too though (depends on the number of submissions if we do different categories or so). Will also try to do some video or help people doing one :)

That's bull****.
I put it all together and then it had an error and shut down on me, didn't even get to save it :frown:

I made a video except its a "Windows Movie Maker" file and I don't know how to convert it. It doesn't let me put it on youtube either.

Open it in WMM and go to "Finish Movie" in the "Tasks" menu and then it'll save as a YouTube and other stff compatible file.

Oh, and good news!
When the error happened it saved the file :D I'm just converting now...

Thanks Switch for your help. This was a pain to get the parts together. The video works on youtube but it won't pop up here. Can people see it?

BTW I know it was kinda bad quality but that's how nonregistered screen recorders can be (besides FRAPS), but luckily there was nothing advertising at the top :D

I just saw the end of your video Switch. I didn't like it, most of the people on Zone are meanies who like to say bad words.

How the hell do you use FRAPS x_x
It doesn't like to record (not even screenshots) on my computer xD

FRAPS sucks I just don't know how to use any other program.

FRAPs is one of the leading (and best) screen recorders...

You wanna give me $40? I can only record 30 seconds at a time which ruins my movie.
