Here's the situation. I'd like to create a playerworld project. I've never really started a project on my own properly before but I believe, after years of experience with developing (which includes years of observing management).

What I'm looking for is a couple of people to help me take the project forward. I'm currently fiddling with a few ideas in my head but I'd like 2 people to brainstorm with and then make plans.

Is anyone interested in starting a project with me?

Here are a few possible ideas I've had:

• Space-Age RPG
• Modern (completely different concept to Era though)
• Roman Ages
• Classic. Graal stripped down to a bare minimum. Spar/Event/Quests intensive.

I once had a great idea for a server called "Jerusalem" where it was a crusades game. I had a storyline and everything but I could not find a dedicated enough graphics guy.

I've always wanted to see a good modern based server with a completely different concept than Era.

Too bad I can't find any scripters willing to help...

Now that's the problem! I proposed to Dusty that we should bring the Developer's Circle together and work on a project.

It'll give Trainees hands on experience and those who are already skilled a chance to see a project through from start to end.

I have been looking for a server to develop for since I quit Era staff. I'm not too good of a scripter, but pretty decent. I can level nicely with modern tilesets. I've been trying to learn the default classic tileset though.

There's too few ideas flying around at the moment and it's a bit unorganised as of yet (me being a big fan of organisation). I'm not sure how the theme will be decided but I'm steering towards a guild/community vote. However, a vote doesn't yield the most accurate results.

For the moment though, let the ideas keep flying through.

I could recollect 5 server projects you tried engaging in....

They've never been something I'm content with. Plus, I was just the sole developer rather than the actually manager. This time, I'm going to try managing properly as well as developing.
