I just don't get it.
 

Why do people keep starting new playerworlds projects? In my time of playing Graal, which though it isn't as long as some people it has been quite long, since 2004, I have seen hundreds, maybe thousands of different playerworlds. They always have such pretty graphics and even some great gameplay but they just, never make it. It's always been Unholy Nation/Era/Valikorlia/etc. I never see any of them make it! I really just don't understand. The only server that ever has enough people to actually play on and have fun is Zodiac or UN. No one plays gold servers barely.

Is there anything that's ABOUT to come out, in like, a few months? That's almost completely done and ready to just, emerge? I just think Graal offers such great options for developing a server, I've seen great things before, they just don't ever make it. :( It's so frustrating. What is planned for Graal in 2008?

Please don't flame me, I'm not trying to ***** about it. I just would like to see something new!

oh. and why is delteria on the playerworlds list? there is nothing to do on it, nothing at all. atleast the hosted servers have a few things to do. and atlantis?? i just dont understand anything at all.

It's a German server aimed at people who speak German.

If you don't speak German, then most likely you won't understand it.

I mean.. no one is ever on it, ever. What's the point of it exisisting?

People see developing as hobby, independent of any success :p
Thats why people still start up projects.. and why not?

Its like 6€/$ a month and you can have some fun.. 10€/$ a month is like 4 beer in your favorite pub, that doesnt even last one evening.

I just wish that Graal had something new and fresh.

People do it for "fun," then they make not fun promises that makes it...not fun. Nobody likes to hear people who aren't satisfied, so then they want to make a server by themselves...and no one wants to be part of it when you push them to work. They want to have fun, and then only one in a million can actually have fun, and get it done, which was only Zodiac? And a few new Hosted servers, but to see something fresh and new would be interesting, wouldn't it?

... and my favorite player is Chris Nolan, hes the best graal player and graal is the best game, ever~...

People develop for fun.

We pay to develop, and then other people complain that what we are making is not good/original/fun. Great. Don't play it.

If I did not have fun or enjoy scripting, I would not develop. We pay to develop. Why would I pay to do something not fun?

If Utopia, or whatever server I'm working on this time next week, never makes it Classic (lol), or even Hosted, I really don't care. I had fun.

I really didn't mean to sound like I was *****ing at people for not finishing playerworlds specifically. I just meant, like, Graal in general has nothing new at all except like, Skill Games, rofl. Do you not agree? Do you think where Graal is at right now is a good place? Sometimes I think maybe it's not about the game so much as it is the amount of players. Every server would be so much more fun if they had more players. Most people I show the game to love it but they just aren't going to pay money for it
