After Shauns Dead, I heard someone said that Shangri-La will be continued by the former team, so I just wanted to ask if there was any progress made by now, or if the development has stopped in general.

Why? Iam just curious and it definitly had potential =/

He died, then some other dude who bought it for shawn I think (Madrox) dropped dead in a car accident, so her brother, I think, this guy named Kenshin I think took it over.

It's definitly the server with the worst real life background, I didn't know Madrox died too....

Yeah, no one's joking. We're talking about the server, this was a stupid thing to pull up, now it'll be the talk of the day.

The opposite. I had some contact to Shaun before he died and id like to see this server finished =/.

If you are to immature to participate in this discussion, just do something else and don't waste our time.

It was'nt really a joke in the first place, and if you dont like the fact it's been brought up, i'd recommend you don't read the thread, as personally i don't think it's all that bad, and i did hang with Shaun alot before he did what he did.

But if you continue to argue, or debate , whatever you want to call it, then your keeping it alive more. Your own doing.

What, it was the truth. Shaun died, then madrox took it over and she died, then Kenshin got it. It's not a 'death fest', that's HOW IT IS.

random question, but how did people find out that Shaun commited suicide?

Perhaps a relative logged on and told the community which he was commonly visiting?

It apparentally wasn't fake, though.

Who would they know who to tell, or even get the game running, although they could figure that out. But still, it seems very unlikely they'd actually log onto a game and tell people.

All i remember of his suicide was malinko posted a thread a day after about his death then we found out he did it. But this is far from the point of this thread.

kenshins account was Battousai9120 or something with the numbers but yeah i havent seen him for a while.

I think there was a real life newspaper article of his dead with his realname, and I think people knew his realname..

No, iam not making jokes in this post, Id rather like to see Shauns work finished, thats the exact opposite of making fun of him.

It was posted in a local news paper and his friends also played this game or where connected to the people that shaun considered "friends" on graal. Just think about things such as myspace/facebook/msn which make it very easy to spread such "news"

And as for Fay.. or however you spell it (too lazy to scroll back and read his name) (the guy with the ugly signature) ah get over yourself.

Last I heard of Shangrila was that MysticalDragon was doing something on it.

@Mystic: Ah well cause I find AIM an inferior program and most of the people I want to talk to have MSN anyway. People in Europe hardly use AIM... waste of CPU to run both programs or something like trillian

Yeah the link was posted in the death thread going to a death notice site in his area. Then a link was posted to a image of a letter his principal sent to his school students.

I was the most recent manager on Shangri-La. It got shut down when I was away (someplace fun).Now I believe Madrox's brother is trying to revive it.

Agreed. Couldn't of been that great of a guy if he decided to commit suicide.

Well I don't know about that, I can think of a lot of great people who killed themselves: Judy Garland, Ernest Hemingway, Nero, Vincent van Gogh... Just to name a few.

I dont think this discussion needs to be revived.
