The Latestest in (RP WISE)
 
Remember all my posts on RP Wise is somewhat related
Ok I'm back and I got some major ideals to pop so todays topic
is the highy holy or very unholy might of MAGIC!

So here is how its set
Lets say Warrior 1 has died and Magi 1 is near and how the power to cast a Raise Dead spell. For the spell to work correctly he must use a sort of magic targeter (which I'll try to expain later on in the post) and select the fallen matey. Next he must say (type) the correctly to cast it (I'll expain later)


Ok heres how the Magic Targeter works
Either it could be in a npc form (just like the way you use the build R&R NPC, but its a crossair) And Once you select the target his name goes on the top right hand side of the screen with his head type and name which means you have that player selected for any spell.



Now for spells themselfs
You might think that spells will be in a NPC form but your way wrong. Spells will be on voice(text) command which means you must remember (or right down) the correct saying for the spell and what it does however every magi should beable to buy a spell book which shows what spells you know what they do and how to use them (incase your lazy and dont want to right or can remember the spell) however using the book can make major delay in battles. The Weaker spells can be bought (1 scroll for some gralets) while the stronger ones can be learned off of other magi or doing different quests.
Then of course you can't forget the whole learning process of spells nothing never works the first time each spell would take a while to learn. Basic spells can be learned faster. While stronger spells take longer.

Also Magi will be given 1 free (weak) spell on becoming a magi (Training to be something instead of picking is also very good)

I think thats enuff for this week. Of course this is my 2 cents take it or leave it

Good Ideas =)
But what happens if a "Mage" Becomes a Mage Warrior!
I think that would be cool a Sword Mage =) Basically my Char.

That could happen but spells would be limited aswell as mana cant be strong in both worlds eh =/

I agree it should be like kinda like UO with the Magic Circles and stuff. Kinda like the Warlock class,Mage Class,Tank Mage Class.
Diff magics for diff kinda of magic users and leaders of a kingdom should have the kingdoms specialty NPC wheter it be magic or weapon

Kingdom Leaders should be able use both Magi and Warrior but not beable to use the very best weapon or very best spell

Naw Kingdom Leaders should choose if they are Strictly Magic, Strictly Weapons, or right in the middle. And have one best kingdom NPC complementing which they picked

Of Course the path is their if they want to take it. Nothing is given straight at the point

yeah, the spell scrolls will just display the phrase to say the spell, but the only problem is that for complex spells, players could say all of the spell but the last line, then the could copy it, then paste and type the last word and hocus pocus! the spell is cast!

Its more RPish to choose one path and stay on it.
