Santa visits GK (List with winners)

This evening santa will visit GK. He will walk around on the main island and he has lots of gifts in his bag!

Everyone can get 2 rare item from santa!
If it's not a rare item in the presentbox you can pick up unlimited boxes - but you have to wait 10 minutes before you can pick up the next one!
If there are 50+ people online santa will drop rare items faster.
If the presentbox doesn't contain a rare item, it will disappear after a couple of minutes.

The usual things are like diamonds, enchant armour, iwd, cookies, candy etc..

A few presents are:
1 x Dwarven Warhammer of Sorcery
1 x Dwarven Warhammer of Might
1 x Dwarven Warhammer of Agility
4 x Waraxe
2 x Darkflame Sword
2 x Inferno Sword
1 x Inferno Dagger
6 x Flame Ice Dagger
12 x Ice Dagger

It does not mean it won't drop. It just drops with a higher chance if there are more people online.

pooper200000 12-24-2007 02:35 AM

I'm looking forward to it if I log on and santa is there lol

Googi 12-24-2007 02:43 AM

By "this evening", do you mean the evening of the 23rd in North America (right now) or the evening of the 24th in Europe?

Switch 12-24-2007 02:50 AM

Is it out now?

grawlgamer 12-24-2007 02:55 AM

Kindof vague on when

kia345 12-24-2007 03:02 AM

/cast create food milk and cookies

MrAnonymous_P2P 12-24-2007 03:38 AM

I wish you could fight Santa in some death match battle thing where if you didn't like your present you could challenge him and then Santa could breathe fire and kill you :D

Twinny 12-24-2007 04:15 AM

Is it going off servertime?

Tigairius 12-24-2007 04:27 AM

Hmm, maybe there should be a set server time, so we know if it's German or American.

Mousymee 12-24-2007 04:28 AM

Oasa wants to know ","Can we get a set time? Some people wont be able to log on in the evening due to family reasons"," what time will the event take place"," possibly posted in an American timezone"," or servertime.""

Posting for other people is against the rules.
Next time ask the question yourself; there would have been nothing wrong with that x.x

But yes... it would be nice to know what time. Or have a better idea instead of having to be online for many hours waiting for the right time x.x

Darklux 12-24-2007 01:29 PM

Ill be celebrating with my family so please think about bringing him on a bit earlier - most ppl will be with their families today :) as its christmas.

Santa is in town!

Edit: We will announce the winners of the rare items here after it's over.

Darklux 12-24-2007 03:48 PM

Ah nice for upgraded ppl only... trials should be warned that they can just ignore this thing. I wasted like 20 minutes running after him =/

Tomorrow santas little helper will run around the start island part where trials can get things, too. Just not as good as the ones from santa.

Sheen_the_mage 12-24-2007 08:31 PM

This event is dissapointing.
The items are too rare and then you just get cookies >_>

kia345 12-24-2007 08:47 PM

I got enough cookies to hold over the fact I'm not with Bile anymore, so I guess some good came out of it.

It's no even just some small christmas present because we didn't just want to have the mail island update as christmas update.
The other stuff will come after new year.

But the drop speed of the rare items is perfect. It has to last 3 days!

Althought the usual ones were incerased and also added event coin to that.

Great! So you will be doing that still!

Christmas gifts AND New Year gifts.... This should be a good year :]

I really hate the fact it's so hard to get since everyone is crowding Santa, which makes it for some people (especially laggers) nearly impossible to get the oppurtunity to pick up a present or win anything.
Sadly, after literally humping and following Santa for over two hours, all i got was five cookies. I gave up for today, I really hope it'll last two more days ;)
Even though already four or more rare items were looted (as far as i know).
Grats to everyone who won rare items so far.

dNeonb 12-24-2007 09:55 PM

It doesn't matter how many people are around because most of them have to wait to pick a present box up. After you got one you can pick up the next in 25 minutes. So if someone gets a box and still walks around it looks like that there are lots of people but not all of them can get the next box :)

Vimerge 12-24-2007 09:57 PM

Yeah :P that's great
but first it was 10 min and there were 10 people on it, and santa doesn't drop every minute,no, he dropped every damn 20 minutes
But now it seems to be reduced so :)

Googi 12-25-2007 01:13 AM

It appears that the items you get are influenced by how many copies of the item you already have. If you have a lot of cookies, you get cookies. If you have a lot of EAs, you get EAs. People who keep getting cookies might be able to solve the problem by getting rid of their cookies.

I highly doubt it effects the rare drops if it even has an effect on any drops at all.

dNeonb 12-25-2007 02:56 AM

It has nothing to do with if you have some kind of this item or not. There are just 5 different typed of cookes and compared to ea,diamonds, iwd,ec and the other thing I forgot not it's 50:50 (Ignoring the calculation before if there is a drop and if the drop will be a rare item) if you get a cookie or not.

Great, I remember when I bought mine for 150 :D

BigBear3 12-25-2007 03:43 AM

Stop being so negative. I got nothing out of this but I still think it was a great idea. Kudos Bjorn!

OMG I just read this now.

It's nice that everyone has a chance.

But people like me are going to be awake for 3 days (i might sleep for 3 hours and set my alarm to get back on right away...or maybe i should just not fall asleep at all)... I hope this doesn't interfere with work in any way.

Vimerge 12-25-2007 02:34 PM

omg i just won Inferno Sword from Santa :D
it was the 2nd one avaiable :)

dNeonb 12-25-2007 03:06 PM

It seemed Santa needs some help so we got Santa's little heper to help him. He is walking around on the start island part - Trials can get items from him but also gold accounts.
But gold accounts might not be interested in him very much, he mainly drops tools and weapons - the rare items are all kinds of graal worker tools.

dNeonb 12-25-2007 10:31 PM

The graal worker one is golden, I think so

Dark, musty brown yes. For me it was more like a old dark used kind of gold.
