I have a question about Events...
 

Why can't people who already weapons play? The reason I ask, is because some people have them for life, and we are no longer allowed to play weapon events, excluding us from a large event. Making the chances for others to win easier, winning weapons should be a challenge. I am saying this because it is getting to the point where it is way to easy to win them.

Now this is just my view, I would like to hear yours.

I think its made this way to give everybody a fair chance to earn these weapons, with less people, it'll be easy for person A to get them..

..And since they can ''legally'' exclude players because they have a ''reason,'' why not? Fewer complaints from most* of the players.

everyone has an equal chance to win event weapons. The difference is that those with skill will always manage to win those. It is like saying that because you won something you can't win something else. Lets say you win the lottery for 1 million dollars. So are you saying that you should never be able to win the lottery again? I don't think so...

I can see where YOU are coming from and if that's the way you want it I could let maybe you and jesse participate until X amount of players are left? Not sure. We can talk more about it in game.

For now the rule still stands. No one who has the hosted weapon is allowed to participate until further notice.

Edit: What if you win the lottery for an infinite amount of money (i.e. winning rps in old zone) and decide to play even more? Does that scream fariness? Would that make everyone else happy if it shows up on the news that multi-whatevernare such and such is playing the lottery again? I don't think so.

Like I said, less complaints from *most players.. Pooper. :p

Event weapons only last a month anyways so people shouldn't whine if someone already has the weapon and plays in the event.

You also know that if you won the lottery for an inifinite ammount of money you wouldn't want anyone else to have that much money. You would want it all to yourself. Same deal with event weapons. Why should I if I have infinite money let someone else win 10 million dollars? I wouldn't. I would make sure I won it. The guy with an infinite amount of money has just as much a chance as anyone else to win it. It is the same with event weapons.
I don't think you completely understand what I am talking about so don't talk.

Ok simplest answer is fairness. How would you like it if you entered a Red Reaper event (They are the prize) and a person who has them already won the event. Wouldn't you be mad..wouldn't you think its unfair?

If you answer no to that your stupid but i know you would answer yes. Thats the whole point of limiting people who already have them. To give others a chance to win the weapon.

I could really care less about winning the lottery again if I had all the money in the world....

The only reason I'd even go in is to knock some people out I don't want to get the crappy event weapon. If I die oh well nothing major since I already have it.

No I wouldn't be mad because 2nd place would win them. Unless you guys don't go by that rule. And if 2nd place has them or the ET hosting has different rules then it would be a rehost. I wouldn't be mad either way because Red Reapers would just be a knock - off. Besides Dan has already expressed his opinion on this issue also... He gave double shotguns to boing in a snowrace. Boing already had them. I think we should stick with that rule. If you are not competent enough to win then you don't deserve them. You can just work harder until you can win them. It is not a matter of "skill" it is a matter of practice. I can beat someone with a chaingun when they use a chaingun. It isn't skill it is practice.
