Where is the documentation?
 

Often I've pondered about how I was supposed to perform a specific task, such as bread baking, pet taming, where to find alchemy recipes that doesn't require skills only attainable by a long time of grinding and other stuff. Sometimes I was able to figure it out via trial and error but at other times I remained clueless.

I did look thoroughly for a comprehensive source of information of course, but didn't find much except /help and the Graal 2002 unofficial manual.
While these are helpful to some extent, they fail to provide other much needed information, such as certain flute tunes. Some of the NPCs in the starting quest did tell you some stuff but since a player is unable to extract that information after having finished the quest, it remains useless as a reference.

So I ask; where do I find comprehensive documentation on various aspects of GK?

You write it.

If you want to write one I can put it on my page. But the page is not my main focuse I work on it only if I have some time left - else I work on thigns for GK.

In the past people made some really good help sites for GK like Moonite for example but her site doesn'twork anymore.

How about we all pitch in and make this type of guide.

I was going to work on a CP-based project but now i think i'll broaden the scope to GK. As soon as my damn debit card finally arrives, i'll be buying a webhost for the site. One aspect of the site will include guides / item information / general knowledge etc as well as a few more advanced features i've only discussed with cyan3 :)

Of course, I can only really work on this on weekends. (posting from work at moment)

With my lack of online time and being the only person working on it, the Graal 2002 unofficial manual has not been fully updated. If you would like to help I would appreciate it. This goes for anyone...

Well, we know how important you like people to think you are, so why don't you just write it and put your name all over it? :)

If you work on a CP-based project I would help... assuming you'd allow my helping hand. It wouldn't hurt- trust me. But that's if you do a CP-based project.

Why don't you take a leap off a bridge. I am sick and tired of you. I gave an idea that once again was crapped all over and this time by someone who professes to want to save GK.

He wanted to fix GK actually. And he wanted to do it the way it has to be done- by actually working on the game itself. Not by creating guides. Can't help it if a guy whose job is helping people doesn't want to make a guide- I mean, he IS the guide. Well, him AND Googi of course. Written documentation would help, but in the mean time- these guys ARE doing their jobs, I see it every day they're on tag. I'm probably their most-returning customer. FAQ Team gets an 11/10 in my book! (or to be traditional... they get a 3000/75)

Doesn't mean we can't have a simple guide in case Mr Tig is busy on debug or Googi isn't on. Would be nice to have something for ppl to fall back on.
