Yes, we really need them. Some of them might be out for power though.

police should atleast get 1 speical NPCW which would be a Taser (stunts player for atleast 15 secs)

I agree with that we need some team to do a check on hacking etc., although I do not completely agree with the rule of Pking too much and you will be put in jail. This is not because I am a PKer myself (I have 0 kills and 0 deaths ^^), but it's slightly too harse way of preventing PKing, a better way of doing that is making mroe things to do, OR install deetto's idea for a PK town, that that si the only place where PKing is allowed while not anywhere else.

Police are pointless. Nothing has changed since they came, except people getting angry. They don't understand that their job isn't to jail anyone who presses the S key. If that were the case they should remove swords from graal entirely.

Police have a point to them. They rid Graal of annoying PKers for 30 minutes at a time :D

But I think that should be their only power. No taser, no RC, just the power to go up to Manny or Paul and say "Jail the bugger!" The current policemen are coping pretty well with the job, and I haven't seen any corruption... yet.

oh please police are corrupt...i just got jailed for hitting a police's brother!! Now that is just crap, he isnt staff or anything just a brother and the damned RC wont let me out and there isnt any other police on...if this isnt corruption i dont know what is..and of course the damned admins in high places dont give a crap cause they still havent done anything about it

Ok, ok. The system should be changed. Policemen should only jail people based on complaints. For example, if Welly is PKing someone continuously, sucking out all the fun that person paid 27 bucks for, the person can complain to a policeman. The policeman must then submit the complaint to a higher level admin, along with a report on what happened. Meanwhile, the PKer can get jailed, but for an hour or two at the most. If the higher level admin finds that a policeman's actions are corrupt, the policeman gets fired. If you're fired, you can't return.

Simple as that

Yes, some police jail people for nothing, but some dont, and actually are usefull, maybe if someone spyed on some of them and saw what they do >:)
