I log on Zone and almost always see events team members on, and if there isn't some events being held, there are members of the events team at least playing. Part of being a dead server is having no active events or few staff making the server interesting. I have been on all day long for the past few weeks or so and only saw Sam log on once for about three minutes, on RC. I do not understand why Sam is still in charge of things if he's not taking care of it. Now, Sam is a great guy, don't get me wrong, and I like Sam; However, I am looking towards the best interest of GK. He is not doing anything with the Events Team and there are no active events masters holding events.

Ravenblade - Too busy with Zone/Real life/Inactive.
jkool666 - Some Zone Events Team that got hired for being Ravenblade's friend. Only held about 3 events, that was it. Inactive.
sage_scooby - Doesn't even play anymore.
protozero - No gold time, plus I think he resigned.
Any other events masters I missed? Because I am not going to remember all of them; so many of them have been inactive for so long.

Sam gave it his best, and he doesn't need to leave Graal, but I think it's about time where he realizes he doesn't have the time for it anymore and he needs to step down or hire some new events masters.

GK used to hold events a lot. There used to be GPs on, Events Masters holding events, and people enjoying themselves, do you see how things have changed? There is no one... nothing... it's gone.

Now, I am sure Sam is going to scold me for speaking out, but that's the only reason no one else will do it. This thread is not against Sam. It's for something to help bring back GK. Darklux, Björn and I are working on things for GK. Darklux and I are working on new dungeons, I have done a lot of work to main and Björn is helping, Björn is working on nice new things for the future ;), I am working on some additions to the poison system and other things, as well as a new Admin system. Slowly we will bring back GK, I promise, but meanwhile we need something else to hold players.

As of right now it is nearly impossible to get any ECs because there are almost none in circulation. x_x Sam has a problem with .. a lot of people, but I think he needs to take a second, mature up to his age a bit, and realize there are many perfect candidates for Events Master regardless of what they did to him in the past. Some people have Sam thinking they scammed him when it's not true, some people have Sam thinking that they hate him, and some just treated him as poorly as he treated them, but seriously, get OVER IT.

I want to bring GK back.

I completely agree with Tig, I was thinking the same thought just yesterday. If only we had more events, people may be inclined to staying on for more than 15 minutes. EC's would be great for the community because then we can have more higher end items, for people to actually trade for, and the normal players have a chance to get some good items. Not to mention, events are pure fun on their own. We have this amazing event island, yet we never seem to use it, and our numbers continue to decline.

Something needs to change, and I believe the person in charge needs to care more and take some action, or hand down his title. A few things to start, hire more ET's, encourage people to level up and get better equipment by declaring weekly spar tournaments or something of the sort, Aim for having events everyday, just like other servers. Continue to come up with new items.

There couldn't be a more important time than now, to change something here. GK is losing all hope and people need to start standing up if they want it to be alive again.

Obviously some rules need to change as well. GK rarely even reaches 25 players to hold an event, you can't expect more people to play if you're not willing to do anything until they start playing.

Well we can lower the amount of ppl on to host to 15-20..i would think as long as there isn't over 50 percent that are trials.

I can try to host more. Don't get down on Sam though. He's on when needed.

With the EC thing. They are EVENT COINS..and Sam only gives so much to us EM's

I don't have problems with anybody. possibly a fist full peopl have a problem with me ;).
