Background on Utopia:

Utopia was founded sometime in Later 2004. I, Ork, found the server on Febuary 17th, 2005. I was made LAT Administrator, then Quickly rose up to Co-Manager.
I was Co-Manager for about 6 months, but then the owner (Tony Torreto) Decided that he'd upload it on my server for testing. Tony quit Graal in April of 2007. I came back to Graal September 24th, 2007. Quickly found a server, Stefan gave the backups, and we were on our way, once again.

Utopia is a Modern server, Filled with Guns, Gangs, and Buisiness (Being Made).

My first question:
What would make your server better then Era?

Shouldn't that be U-Toe-Pee-Uh ? Toe instead of to (two).

@Pimmeh: We just are. I mean, our staff aren't nearly as bad as Era's.

What I ment was: What makes your system different from Era's? I mean their staff maybe stupid and arrogant but they got a good system and things to do.
What do you do to stand out?

I would have to disagree with that. If I recall I have seen many of your staff abusing and placing unnecessary blocks across the GMap (you being one of them). Also I have seen your LATs/GATs/Dev and none of them are superior at what they do at all. (Not to bash them in any way.) Also, the only main guy who is bringing life to that server would be Chris. He does what needs to be done, keeps your server in a semi-decent order and gets things going. Also, If I remember correctly (correct me if I'm wrong please) but when I worked there and was helping you guys out with a couple graphic improvements that you needed, I said something about how you need to stop abusing if you want any players to play and not quit b/c of you being abusive. You got mad and fired me and banned me. I did nothing for that ban lol. Anyways, This is just a taste of what your staff is like and what really needs to be improved on before you can even compare yourself to Era.

Is this the server with the pom trees? This was founded by some pikachu guy from N-Pulse.

I want to know more about the gameplay if I was interested in giving any attention here.

The fact that theres actual work being done each day?

The GUI sort of reminds me of one used on old Era.

I'll leave it out there, but Ork... weren't you notorious for getting your hands on old Era backups and using them on the server you had access to?

lol I re-made that gui on Era Dev, it was **** hot ^^

someone shut it down. now it is called Dev knightmare1 again. sending another rename ticket
(incase you didnt know, im the one who owns the server, manager tag is like era.)

Anyways yes some stuff looks like Eras as TSAdmin mentioned. But I have a question, did Cythus Ever work with Utopia. If not then please tell me why I see a edit of his AC in the window of buildings and the fishing sign that was made on GX.

And I couldnt seem to find the fishing sign that Utopia is using in my graal folder. And I couldnt take a screeny b/c there is a message that hovers over a staff block going over it. But any of you that have played GX know what sign I am talking about that hung down from the top of the shop by little chains.
You guys need to change this direction your starting to head down before it gets to late :x

Tbh I never saw anything different from Era, and the dude who posted here seems to avoid responding to that, so please, answer me:
What makes you different from Era, gameplay wise?

ancient by the looks of it :) I guess about 4 weeks after first release

Uh theres lods of things stolen on dev knightmare1
i for one know,i had all the folders nc access ect,The only things not stole was the hp/guns/gang system that chris scripted.
Atrius's tommy=Their tommy (only edited a bit)
Gui is stolen from era
Golden and normal deagle stolen from Atrius
M60 stolen from lance(on GX)
Xm8 stolen from GX
And alot more
The rest of the scripts are just staff tools taken from public snippets(or w/e you call them)
So yee..server should be shut down

This server was dead, and the old owners will probably respect that you leave it dead. It had a good time, but now it's just bad.

No...this isn't a response. At all.

One, you have NO IDEA on the work of ANYTHING on Era. They could be making dozens of things you have NO IDEA about. Two, "actual work being done"? Could I care that work is being done if it will be the same as Era? No, I really couldn't. If you could tell me something good and then that it's being done, maybe I could actually be attracted to the server.

Because the other servers are crap and WE know what is better, and we are actually doing THAT instead of making stupid staff tools that only are used for a lot of abusing.^^^^

The servers obviously aren't crap as players are playing them and enjoying them. I mean if you can really show content and prove to be better then all the other worlds, that's what you should be saying.

And I never see or hear of abuse on public worlds, that's just something that goes around to degrade Graalonline, saying that makes you look stupid.

I love when I try to tell them the server is a lot like Era and they serverwarp me to era.

No it didn't. No playerworld had such a system at the time, let alone such a nice gui.

Scripting wise they did, as I can recall. I remember this cause it was a burning issue back then.
