NPC Server.
 

i am nightmare, owner of Final Resort (Blood Raven's new name) and we have had a corrupt staff who deleted all our stuff, and we got new staff, and because jay didnt do anything and none of it was his stuff, he left for good. now we have mYg0tHaMpStEr, or Ork, to take his place. he is making Utopia, and we cant get the scripts to work, or NPCs. why not? i killed the NPC server, shut it down, turned it on, and nothing. i killed it like 3 times, and d/c it over 10 times, with funny reasons, and nothing is working!!!

A summary, for those who care:
NPC Server seems broken on the server "Final Resort"

Care to provide us a sample code to see if it is the NPC Server that's defective and not Ork's codes?

You can try /npckill in rc but I doubt that is working on your server.

erase all script in the NPC Server, check the GServer. then use /find on the actual level with NPC's, you can also ask Stefan for a back up.

thats how we got teh backup. we upoloaded the scripts they just arent showing up on GMAP or NPC Server where it shows all NPCs (and their types)

try /find? and how is your folder config?

The levels for the npcs must exist and loaded (appear in the level list), otherwise it will not load and show the npcs. Make sure the levels are correctly configured (shows as level when doing /find) and then restart the npcserver.

Not always, thats why you shouldn't expect it to be done automatically. Always make sure the .gmap is in the NPC levels list and not the .nw files that make it up.

the backups NPCs had different level name, and i didnt have a lvl like that.
