PKing in the Code of Conduct
 

In the next few days, GraalOnline administration will be releasing a NEW CODE OF CONDUCT which will more clearly define when PKing is OK, and when it is in violation and punishable. This policy is not NEW, but because these rules were never stated clearly, both players and police have made different interpretations. The new Code of Conduct attempt to fix this.

The following text is an excerpt: "Through either their experience or their accumulated player attributes and weapons, some players will have competitive advantages over others. As a result, killing other players [PKing] is part of normal gameplay. It is not acceptable, however, for advantaged players to repeatedly prey upon weaker players or ‘newbies.’ Such ‘stalking’ of weak players or newbies may be in violation of GraalOnline policy."

later it states:
"GraalOnline will almost always stay out of player conflicts. However, when player activities create a disruptive influence on GraalOnline in general, the participants may be jailed."

Thus PKing a random player in order to steal his/her gralats IS part of normal gameplay. However, attacking less-advantaged players *repeatedly* does *create a disruptive influence* on others' [newbies' ] enjoyment of the game. Such *mass PKing* will be punished by GP.

CAVEAT: As with any gameplay rules, there will still be some gray areas (that is part of the fun), but this CLARIFICATION of PK policy will help improve the game for the majority of players.

My kills were from back when I PKed.. my deaths are from when I stopped PKing. :P I wish I could erase my kills/deaths

Good. Now if PKing was only allowed in certain areas, far away from busy levels.

pking is mostly the reason many of us play, and making more places no pk than not would almost make me wish to quit newmain. so alkaren and hawk... you guys suck at making rules ;)

It serves them right. Pausing and talking crap for like a minute or so and then they use unstick me to get away, and then they die. :) I like it when that happens.

Some times the 'Newbies' just Try to PK you, and when they die, they try to PK you again, which makes PKing even more fun.

Well since I don't make rules, you have nothing to fear now do you ;) . Actually I just wish there was less Pking, I get tired of getting bushs thrown at me all the time. But if I made rules, I would never outlaw PKing, its part of the game.

Yes, that used to happen to me alot, back while I PKed, I would just be sitting there not bothering them and they run over and attack me so I end up PKing them and they just continue, I get about 5 kills off them and they start to run..

pking in the admin house should always be allowed because people are idiots and accually use unstick me at .5 maybe when they are going to die, and that does not fit under "stalking" them either so too bad icehawk.

WE GOT JAILED YESTERDAY FOR TRAPPING ZORRO AND TRYING TO PK HIM IN THE ADMIN HOUSE :) IceHawk jailed us in the no PM jail, and we got to kill thugs.

you should be allowed to pk wherever you want, and pausing should be abolished.

you shouldn't be able to unpause until you've been paused for 30 seconds...that way it could prevent pausers

ok, this pritty much says if you pk someone more than twice, or you continue to hunt them down and pk them you will get in trouble....

I pk people and they just come back and hit me and run away and tease me, So i come up and kill them again..
