Keybind

Take a look at this, see where the "z" is, if you click in that location next to any skill, weapon, or spell you can press any key, to bind it to a hotkey.
**Check the attachted image. This is here because people don't know how to bind the keys when they start, and it usually takes about 15 minutes to direct them to this before they figure it out the first time. Don't worry, it even took me a bit to figure that one out. *Sam or someone, perhaps we need to find a way to sticky this or get a sticky to direct people to it and various other information posts. **Added in a second picture to display an example for spells as well. |
I thought this was pretty obvious, i discovered this feature instantly... Are there people that honestly don't know about the simple keybind/hotkey feature? :noob:

Oh, the hours of fun I've spent trying to explain it someone. I've got a fairly good, step by step process that's gotten it down to about 2-3 minutes of explanation but its still irritating to actually explain.
(Then again, I've also got some pretty gutsy ideas on how to improve the whole keybind process to start with...) |

People were keep asking me how to set hotkeys so i made this.

whats the difference between key binding and hotkeys?
|
There are little to no differences between key binding and using hotkeys, key binding binds commands such as /save or /useskill by using the /bind command and you can only bind these commands to keys 0-9.
By the way, nice job, Dayaa. |
