Thefts and scams?
 

So seriously, why am I having to deal with someone getting some item stolen or "scammed" every day now? Is it too much to ask to have some general rules or notifications on GK??

And what is up with the server?? If it wasnt bad enough, soon as they see you drop the item the run to it, and the other person can't grab it until the serer stops lagging, by the time it does someone else gets there and has a chance to grab the item your trying to give to someone else.

Granted I care less about diamonds, but others use them to trade for things...

I'd say more but I just want some opinions on what should be done with these people that are not being nice to the newer people.

Besides you didn't notice, there is. We do not resotre scammed items except there was a bug abused to scamm the item by creating a new one.
But if you get scammed and can provide some propper proof we can sure ban the scammer.

Yeah people need to get proof to you but they can't always Bjorn. Yesterday MechEagle scammed someone of 35 diamonds using that stupid fishing rod bug and I had to tell him that unless he had proof (screenshot) that nothing could be done.

Its kinda sad that this has to be true and in fact I don't trust screenshots. They can be altered. Seen a example of it on Zone. Was really well done. Basically what your doing Bjorn is showing the server that your not willing to help unless they give proof.

Well i guess its good in a way then everyone won't run to you claiming false stuff but Scamming has run rampant on the server. Its time to reinstate the GP's again. Its time for people like MechEagle and Seeya to stop being able to get away with scamming.

There are trading tables on GK, so why are you dropping stuff on the ground? You can't expect everyone to yield while you trade without using the proper trading utilities.

Tig even if people use the trade tables scamming is still possible and does happen. But again nothing will happen unless you have proof to give to staff.

There is no bug with the fishing rod. You can put everything on it and throw it away. People know that. If people don't rightclick and check what's on the table I can't help them.

We can't have a solution for every single mistake a player makes. If someone can't accept the own mistakes they made then they should learn it. Next time they will be more carefully. :whatever:

So people shouldn't do that? No proof just belive them. The right person telle me this... If it was not this way you would be banned for a long time now.

No I never said to just believe them but you should be doing more. Bring back the GP's so they can keep a eye out. Because new people don't know that they should have proof if they get scammed. its unfair to them don't you think?

If you don't take a proof you actually have to belive what they say and do something on their word. If you don't go with it that way you will need to have a proof. There is no other soltion. This or that.

I agree, tables are the safest and best form of trading, there are obvious and easy steps every player should take to avoid being scammed on the tables, one of which is actually right clicking to see what the person has placed on the table.

Proof is hard to get and the easiest form of proof to get, is a screenshot, which isn't reliable as editing is easy and widespread these days, but there is the video recording (alt+6) so if someone is worried about being scammed, start recording the trade...

If you do not make any stupid decisions, which are listed in the rules written by Sam and Björn about scamming in 'Graal Kingdoms > Information' forum, you will not get scammed.
1) Don't let people borrow stuff.
2) Don't cross server trade.
3) Don't USD.

^ Three easy steps to not get scammed. When you do get scammed for taking risks, you cannot complain about it, it was your sole decisions to make.

You need undercover GP's.

It's pathetic that even on Graal, a game with such a close community in comparison to other games, you can't trust people.

Use Fraps ! thats proof enough
