Zormite's Map Day

I have decided to hold a "Map Day" in Zormite where the members of the kingdom are provided with large amounts of maps throughout the day to complete, preferably in cooperative groups. This is geared for the lower leveled members so they have a good chance of gaining several levels. Work in groups, I'll probably hand you harder maps.

Because the intent is for Zormite to better itself, and because higher level maps are limited, the event will most likely not be open to all Forest. Just the lower levels. Forest has indeed shown a bit of assistance and good conduct with its newer members. For this reason I am willing to invite them over to partake in the training.

Haha, all this while being attacked. Funny in both an RP and OOC aspects.

Do you realise the actual amount of maps that are required to level up to a decent amount? Not to mention the time... I dare you to throw low levels in an immense map... "As Emperor, i sentence you all to death, enter through the stair's immediately, you'll be met with monsters, you simply can't kill".

Update: Probably will start mid-late afternoon this day. And there's a good chance I can keep it up for a lot of the night. Bit rushed, but if you can't make it, don't worry. There will be more in the future.

Who said he is going to give them immense maps?

Technically... I WILL be handing out immense maps. But not to some poor level 8 who comes bumbling along. Chances are I'll tell him to come back with some friends if he wants a level 1, or come back with a more advanced player willing to walk him through a rougher map.

Speaking of which.... seriously, this event can turn out a lot more boring then expected if you don't start talking with your friends about forming groups.

Edit/Update: For what's it worth though... I've already got a level 8 who can almost solo a level 1 map. Pair her up with another and they'll be tearing through level 1 maps.

A shame higher levels can't party up with the newbs, otherwise you'd have everyone levelled easy.

Drakeero 08-10-2007 06:26 PM

Got that planned too. But ultimately I'm leaving it up to the individual themselves to figure out how to pair themselves. My spirit knights and other more capable people have generally volunteered to help out as guides. But I'm not going to spend all my time assigning them. Dayaa and I both want people who are more coordinated on their own.

Edit: Ideally, I'd want to see both kinds of groups. People of a similar level working together to tackle a harder map... and people working together with an advanced player for better levelling.

Majin... all you're doing is wasting the morning trying to find fault with the entire idea. And unfortunately, I'm wasting my time trying to explain it to you.

Every argument you've brought up so far has been moot from the very beginning of this idea. If it concerns you that much, then just park yourself on the sidelines and watch quietly. If you don't want to waste your afternoon watching, then go about your business and quit trying to peck away at the event.

We aren't going to do everything for them, we're going to help them do it by doing other stuff instead of killing.

Sounds like a fun event to keep everyone busy, too bad I won't be able to attend.

There will be more. It's unlikely everyone will be able to burn through this large amount of maps in just one day. That, and people are very good at donating them. Chances are I can do these now and again for a long time.
