What sort of update would you like to see?
 

I'm making this poll since I was wondering what sort of updates the majority of GK would like to see. The list consists of what I've seen commonly suggested, or the sorts of updates I've already seen occur. So that doesn't mean I think these are all needed. I just wanted to give a wide variety of options.

This poll would give staff a good, clear idea as to exactly what sort of updates GK wants most. Whether staff actually take this information into consideration, I can't say.

If anyone's wondering, the reason I don't mention fixing or balancing things is because such issues should probably be worked on as soon as they're known, and regardless of how badly people want them fixed. I would hope bug fixes don't interfere too much with content updates, though. That's what beta periods are for.

Anyways, I'll go into a bit more detail about each of the poll options below.

1. New monsters

Basically more enemies, either released in new or unused areas, Or in something along the line of maps. It could include big monsters, such as lords, as well. As to what the monsters drop, they could be something along the lines of new equipment, more frequent gemstone drops, or unique monster parts used for new alchemy recipes.

2. More quests (GK Style)

By GK style, I mean the get this item, trade items until you get a gold key sort of quest we currently have.

3. More quests (Classic style)

By Classic style, I mean like the quests that are on the classic servers, where there's some storyline, a bit of a mission and objective, then a beneficial reward at the end.

4. More spells

Not much to explain.

5. More alchemy recipes

More things to make by putting stuff in a bubbling metal pot.

6. More craftable equipment

More ways to make weapons and armor using art and craft skills.

7. More transport types

Ways to move without walking. Like Zeppelins or ships.

8. More pets

Tamable creatures, like horses, or the monkey and yoda pets nobody seems to care about.

9. More items in shops

More things to buy from places with platinum, gold and silver.

10. More character/gear graphics

Things like new clothes, hairstyles, or making more types of gear shown on your character.

Monsters is a must for me. I just love having as many monsters as possible. The D&D Monsters Manuel is like my bible.

stuff is being worked on but Stefan is on vacation currently so nothing can get done.

I've voted for new monsters, because i feel that that is what i most want to see; especially new areas with new monsters and monster drops. But i also would like some of the other stuff in that list such as quests (classic style) as the current quests are just boring and repeatable. I would like to see some quests with a real storyline, some special areas you must goto and can only goto in that quest, rewards such as a great sword or a hp/sp/grace bonus.

I also feel that Alchemy needs more recipes and the current levelling of alchemy is far too simple. Craftable items? Yes, but it would need to be limited, and perhaps some of the greater crafts would require a level of mental skill and even some ingredients that can only be gathered from a classic-style quest.

I guess i'd like to see everything on the list but more gk-style quests, new pets and more items in shops. I'd like to sudgest something that isn't on the list. A new coin with a higher value than platinum coins, 1000p = new coin. This would make the carrying of coins alot less of a burden and might make them be used more in trades rather than diamonds.

I picked new monsters, seeing how you forgot to add the "all of the above" option.

The pets should be scrapped, there's no real point in anything but horses, and even they aren't that useful.
