Graal freezes everytime I try to login to GK
 

Everytime I try to login to GK Graal freezes on either the "Connecting to Graal Kingdoms" screen or it logins but the playerlist pops up automatically and none of the graphics load and then it just freezes and I have to shutdown my computer

It worked ONE time and I got got to pick my class, all the graphics loaded but then it freezed again. x_x Every other Graal server works so I'm not sure what the problem is but I hope someone can help me out

EDIT: I just noticed something.. Everytime it freezes It's stuck on "downloading main.gmap". I wonder if someone could post that file here and tell me where to put it maybe it will work because that one file might be too much to download while being on Graal at the same time or something

From what I just saw your last IP and everything else is just default. I can't see you ever logged on there. But to download main.gmap you would have to be there.

Anyway try now again.

I just tried again and it still didn't work but this time it stopped working while downloading a different file. It just all of a sudden says Not Responding and freezes. Notice how I get all these diseases and stuff, everytime I login it just all popups in a second. I fart, lay eggs & die all in a single second everytime I login. x_x

I put you back in the main room. It should work if you enter now. If not I have no idea.

I logged in and it was actually working, I could open up my inventory and see other players moving in the room. But none of the tiles were loaded, just a few objects and it wasn't downloading any graphics.

I was stuck in the very corner of the screen and couldn't move and then I tried to unstick me and it stopped working again :( Now I just tried to login a couple more times and it's even worst, It doesn't even load. It just says Connecting to Graal Kingdoms, the playerlist pops up and then it freezes.

Maybe if I was reset like I was completely new and back in the middle of the room like when you start it would work... thank you so much for trying to help me out, I really appreciate it :)

Delete your filenamecache.txt before starting graal, maybe. Also levels/tiledef/gk file

Ok so I logged into GKbefore I read your response and I was in the main room, everything loaded, picked everything and then it was like the first time I got on all over again. Selected my class and then it stopped worked the second after I did that. Tried logging in again, just does the connecting to and playerlist pop up thing then says Not Responding. I deleted that stuff and it still does the same thing, I don't get it. What in the game happens after you pick your class that is just so extreme?

:( Can anyone else help me out? I really wanna play.

lol unless u make friends fast or have a very high sence of perserverence you won't play for longer than 3 months, it's all trading after a while

Well I'd rather play for 3 months than not even get to play at all. :(

hmmm looks like your listen is up high too. yeah delete in graal/level/tiledefs the folder named

tiledefsGraal%032Kingdoms

then login again and see if that don't work. btw what windows you using?

I already did that last time when he told me to... it didn't help any. and I'm using Windows Vista.

We tried again today.. got me back to the starting building, worked fine in there.. second I pick my class it starts messing up again. :(

Yeah I think vista is still having problems.

apparently it was fixed and v5 was supposed to work with vista
