Erm, isn't the betting of Gelats (that you pay for) illegal?

What is illegal is lottery when you play for skills it is not illegal.

Also you play for gelats not for real money.

You have to buy Gelats with real money though.

You cannot exchange them for real money, though.

It's like, buying cash points in a game that isn't worth legitimate values once you pay for the cash points. Same goes with Graal. Thus it isn't illegal.

They should make it so that you can do server hosting if you have a certain about of Gelats (Which would have to be a high number per month or whatever). Though they will not make as much money but it would be fun. = )

when I was a kid I used to play blackjack and bet candy, m&m's and stuff like that. is that illegal? I mean, the candy was most likely bought with real currency.

this is by far the stupidest **** graals done. they just killed off zone with these "gelats" or whatever the **** there called.

i guess there new moto is "pay me for the game, and then pay me for everything inside the game".

they should keep it to where if you want to take the time and get **** through the game, you can, or if you dont want to waste time and you want to get it, you can just buy it.

1.Keep bugging a player saying they suck in pool.
2.Make him bet 100
3.When its your turn sit there and AFK
4.Enjoy 100 free Grelats.

I agree with this all the way. The gelats system is awful and if they are thinking of using it on other servers (i hope not gk...) those servers will most likely die aswell...

When I tried signing up when I was like 9 it said
"Sorry, you may not sign up because you are not 13. Please get your parents to sign you up" or something like that. :D

Not in America. ;] But why is it illegal in places? It is how most multi millionaires become rich. It also quite fun.

Some of my fondest memories in high school was playing cards in 'Legal Studies' just because how much the teacher disliked it (legal studies + gambling? he he). The bets were trivial things like pencils or candy but it was fun. By far the best memory was when my mate pulled out a roulette set and we started playing...the ball was so loud :D. The teachers face...it was priceless.

Anyhoo, I don't think there is any harm in it. Gelats can't be refunded (as far as I know) so you're not truly gambling for money. It's just in-game stuff and enjoyment (and bragging rights).

Gambling is based on luck for the most part. Although it does take skill to play poker and such, you will not win with bad cards if you are versing other experienced players. (Dont tell me otherwise, no one on Graal is a professional poker player, nor are they even close to becoming one)

Also, the Gelat's would represent chips, for the most part gambling sites are illegal. I would assume this is no different, most gambling websites use chips for currency, this one just uses gelats.
