Subscription Question

Since these questions STILL ARE NOT ANSWERED, I'll posted them here.
(This was introduced with v5 so it fits.)
1)Anyone who has not upgraded their account beyond the getting unlimited Classic time, press F8 and check it out up top. If you don't feel like it, it says Classic Subscription(0 Days left). This again begs the question, do we have to pay to play on Classic servers again?

2)This is related to question 1. I clicked the the nice little link on the website that says "List of playerworlds" thinking, Oh! This'll let me know what a "Playerworld subscription" covers. Guess what? WRONG. It gives a list to Gold Servers, Classic servers, ect. ect. so I'm still confused.

3)If you check out the new subscriptions, none of them state "Unlimited access to Classic servers." So again, for the final time:

Do we have to pay to play or is it still a one time payment for Classic servers?

unixmad 07-13-2007 09:49 PM

To play classic server (we call it playerworld now) you need the playerworld subscription, it's less than 2USD a month so should not be a big deal.

What about those with the old subscriptions that had unlimited Classic time?

Inspiration 07-13-2007 09:55 PM

I'm not sure if you were clear here.

If we purchased a classic account (lifetime classic) previously, are we now going to be forced to pay again monthly, or do our old accounts still remain able to play classic servers without any additional charge?

Dean 07-13-2007 09:55 PM

What happened to "Free lifetime subscription to Classic worlds"?

grawlgamer 07-13-2007 09:59 PM

I don't really care if its 'not too hard' to just buy classic again, I had unlimited playerworld access and classic lifetime, now I have playerworld subscription left for 200 something days!!!!

kia345 07-13-2007 10:19 PM

So when the old "Gold/VIP" runs out our accounts are pretty much dead?

Those were the golden days of Graal, back when Main Server would have 200+ players, and other servers after that would still have over 100 themselves. The problem now is not the price of the subscription, but the inconvenience; a lot of Graal players are not old enough to own credit cards, and this forces the burden of payment on the parents of the players. I truly believe that Graal's population will dwindle even more if you make them pay monthly, especially for the people who bought classic accounts years ago, thinking they would be able to play classic servers for a lifetime. You should seriously rethink what you're doing."

monthly? I see no possible monthly subscriptions on the site.

I think it means
a lifetime Classic account is now a lifetime Playerworld account. Which is pretty much the same servers

Zideruic 07-13-2007 11:33 PM

Well thanks for ruining graal again bucko.

Googi 07-13-2007 11:51 PM

Unix said months ago that lifetime classic was going to end.

Then why call it "lifetime" if it only lasted 5 years...

grawlgamer 07-14-2007 12:22 AM

It's not "lifetime" if Graal goes broke, either.

lol, nice one

I think Unix meant that those with lifetime classic gets either the 6 month or 1 year playerworlds subscription.

I agree; if you take away the lifetime subscription for classic accounts to classic playerworlds, the playercount of this game will decrease a ton. I'm not talking about developers that like to develop for this game, because I'm sure they would upgrade, but the average player that plays Graal to chat and play the game for real would drop a ton.

How do you know Graal would go broke if they continue with the lifetime classic? They might just come out with an awesome gold server.

Rescate 07-14-2007 08:03 AM

Question will we be able to buy like 6 month gold subscription with access to gold servers and classic servers like before ?

HitmanJ2XX 07-15-2007 02:06 AM

It still looks confusing. On the post by Unixmad, it states "if you HAD".
So what if you currently have VIP/Gold, and the time runs out? Do you have Classic on the weekends or through the week but not on weekends? I think this needs to be clarified in a way that doesn't use fancy words or anything. Make it so that the point beats me over the head.

kia345 07-15-2007 03:03 AM

So, I bought Gold/VIP awhile ago, and this morning I had 237 days left of Playerworld Gold, Kingdoms Gold, Zone Gold, and then Classic was listed there.

Now all I have is Playerworlds Gold and Classic subscription.

Where's my Zone and Gk?

sage_scooby 07-15-2007 01:49 PM

Unix's post answers the lifetime classic question. Lifetime classic is gone, its been replaced with lifetime playerworld for the people that had lifetime classic. You can no longer purchase lifetime anything. So if you had it before now you keep it. If not you don't get it.
