First map in 2 years.
Here is my first 'GRAAL' map in 2 years. I've mapped on other games and programs.
I don't particually like this map since it's for such a crappy event. "Team PK/Spar" http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/6179/tpksj7.jpg |
Reminds me of UN's waiting rooms.

It's supposed to be a 2v2 or 3v3 spar, you start out in the borders on each color. It's red vs blue.
|
It's ok i mean the floor tiles aren't very appealing. The blue tiles and then that red square tile in the bottom right looks very out of place. 5/10 = )
|
A little small for your idea. I'm not too keen on all the pillars everywhere. They'll just get in your way and it can get annoying.
|
I did use basic tiles too. I got to figure out how to switch.

BTW we call these things levels now, not maps >:O

I'd actually say it's kind of good except that the pillars are a little here and there.
|
Poorly designed. Both asthetically and functionally. The level is bland over all. There's not much going on at all. The uneven nature of the wall tiles near the top is un-pleasing to the eye, and the viewer's deck at the top looks like it's just be propped up there, there's no dimension.
Though since this is supposed to be a sparring level how pretty it isn't nearly as important as how well it works... Which is also problem. First of all the starting boxes aren't the same size for both teams. Secondly - and much more importantly - the pillars. I understand that you wanted to use them as obstacles to spice up the action, but you didn't think it through too well. The pillars are spaced all willy-nilly and there are quite a few more placed on the blue side than there are on the red side. So fix that. And make it pretty to look at. |
I swear, I've seen this level before. -_-
It looks like the Bravo: Evolved waiting room for the Paintball event |
