Graal
 

So after reading through a few goodbye post. And i started to think that i can never leave graal. I love this place way too much to leave. I have been playing since 2001. Though i admit these last few weeks have been hell. With all the server problems and people just bitting at eachother's head. It doesn't matter because i know everyday i can get on and enjoy myself wether it is making a level, graphics, a script or a gani. Not to mention i have made friends on here that are so close to me they know more about me than my friends in real life. Saying all this might make you think "oh he doesn't have a life". I do i actually have a lot going for me right now (singing and all), i just feel like graal is my goto place. No matter what i can always go back to graal =). Thank you Stefan for all this. lol

The longest I managed to get away for was a whole year. I guess I cheated though because I went off to a college-prep boarding school for the arts. >_<

I took a reprieve of 3 months. I had no intention of quitting for good at that point. :)
(I was also kind of FORCED to do it...)

Ive only gotten away for a year and a half, but i was grounded from the computer for killing the hard drive accidentally :D

I got away from the beginning of P2P until about december 2005. I only intended to see if anyone I knew still played but Graal got me hooked again.

Wow. I envy you!

It honestly is the community. I've been hooked since 02-03.. If I didn't have my bros on Graal, or my server, I'd quit. Haha funny note: I'm a sales representative. And a kid answered the phone I called today to speak with his dad or whatever. The kid was like "No he isnt here". I'm like. How old are you? (Trying to sell him health insurance) and hes like 17. I'm like "You like video games, right man?" hes like "Haha hell yea, i'm looking for a new RPG game to play" and I was like go to www.graalonline.com. Download it and you'll have a blast. I called back today to speak with is dad. And the kid was like "Dude thank you so much for introducing me to this game. It's so sweet." Haha. Maybe stupid to you guys but its funny to me :P!

I personally like Graal for it's development capabilities, not the community as much. The community IS nice though. On other MMORPGs, my friendslist is almost always empty because they hold way to many players on a single server.

I must give my honest opinion here.

I love graal.Always have and most likely always will.But nowadays I feel so out of place. I have been playing since 1999, probably one of the oldest players here, but nobody recognizes me. All of my good friends have come and gone while I remain. I see myself as a graal statue. When it was built people loved it, they looked at it, knew what it was about, and just thought it was cool. But those people have left, and now only new people just look at the statue, they don't know who it is or what its about, they just see it there.

Name is everything. Stop changing it;

Nobody is going to remember "MrAnonymous_P2P" who registered in late 2006.

I've been through many Banns. I have kept the same name through alot of the years.

And lots of people I have talked to on the servers I used to play on remember "yttas"

My old account. Which was banned for no reason because of a "Security Check".
