I've had the same problem, and sent the same thing to the support center.

No help at all.

You have to make a support ticket for things like this, link is in my sig.
I don't understand why people don't print these things out, and put them in a safe place, or write it down if you don't have a printer. :frown:

*shrugs* then I guess you will have to accept the consiquences of that, huh?
There is not a whole lot a company can do if you cannot prove that you purchased something.

And risk someone else getting their hands on it? If you're a true Graalian you'll memorize your transaction ID.

I always found it weird that out of every game I've ever played, this one is by far the hardest to recover a lost account on.

The email/personal question validation combo usually proves to be more than enough.

It's kind of really ridiculous to expect someone to have a transaction ID from over 5 years ago still at hand.

They may have other ways to prove it, I don't know. I just think that people need to be more responsible with things they spend money on.

If it's something More than $25 I keep the receipt in a shoebox and if it's an internet purchase I ALWAYS make sure I get the internet receipt and save it to a .txt file. I kinda find this common sense and I'm only 17. o.O

The problem is that people don't have the password, don't have access to the email that belongs to the account, and don't have any information about the subscription purchase. There is nothing we can really do then. The difference to other games is probably that Graal currently has an exceptional long subscription time per purchase.

Hmm, that's true, most games have you pay per month.

Well, if someone could provide the e-mail the account was signed up for with, as well as answer 3 personal questions about themselves, AND give the name on the paypal account, wouldn't it be safe to assume that the person owns the account?

I mean, yes, I'm sure there are people that could answer all that information about me, but they're my few close friends that I know in real life, and if I just randomly tell people online what my mothers maiden name is, well, that's my bad.

Everything that is done through paypal is saved in history.

I remember before it seemed like there was a flaw in the system (was never sure if it would work), but basically it seemed like you could upgrade someone's account (not needing their password) and then get the password to it by showing proof of paying for the subscription.... What that means now-a-days...
Someone's GK subscription expires... they have cool items on that account and plan to come back months later... meanwhile, someone upgrades their account and gets their items... :O
But I don't think this is the case today.
