My first levels
 

I haven't ever tried making levels, so what do you think of my first two levels? :)go ahead, I'm prepared for the worst

They're an ok start, although I'd highly suggest learning with pics1 and then playing around with alternate tilesets.

Haha, don't let me change your mind too much - I haven't tiled in years. I'd say wait for a few more opinions.

I wouldn't have a hard time figuring out what tiles do what with what if the tiles where in sections (not just the seasonal sections)

Yeah, Pics1 is horribly arranged. I've thought that for years.

nevertheless, thanks for the feedback, I'll try my hand at pics1, but before I go, I have a question, What does the level generater do? I heard it has something to do with the level maker or w/e it is called

Level Generator?

It generates a gmap when you give it an image.
Each pixel in the image represents a tile, so...
One level is 64x64 in pixels (the image).

Then it generates a .gmap file and the .nw files with the prefix you gave it.

And with the gmap file plus levels you can upload them on a server or load it offline.

If you can look at a level and pic out tile by tile with your eyes then pics 1 is pretty ez. These tiles your using make your limited skills look even worse. I wouldn't use them.
