Ok, since Desear wanted to complain about players posting in the thread he made, I've created this thread so that players do not get "points" or w/e.

I will pick up where I left off at, in his thread - that obviously went off topic.

:::About the ET thing:::

Events Team Members are as follows;

Cor
Sayian
Gambet
Stefan
Vulcan
Huwajux
Jesse
Jo - or Anubis
Ravenblade
Crono

There is no reason to replace a current ET, for 3 months. If a ET is going to be replaced, it had might as well be for good. It is a pointless thing to do. Jo should keep his spot, and just return to Zone when he can. As long as no one else can use his account, then there is no need to worry about someone logging on it, and abusing rights - which is the only reason an ET would have rights removed while he/she is away.

Zone is not in need of more Events team members.

:::About ET "applications":::

This was a stupid idea to begin with. Why have players send applications on why they think they can be ET's? Anyone with rights can be an ET. I'm pretty sure every/all applications would look something like;

"I will host as much as possible. I will not abuse rights. I will be a good ET."

Every player can become an Event Team Member. Staff should decide on which players they feel will fit with becoming an ET.

Applications are used to apply for a job at a buisness. Zone is not a buisness, and therefore should not require applications to get a job here. Nat/Gat/Scripters/GANI'rs should be the only ones that need to fill out "applications", and there applications would just show that they can actually do what they say they can, fairly good.

Events Team does not require any skills, or background knowledge. All it requires is that someone can say /adminhelp, and copy+paste the command they would like to use for there Event. It requires no skill what so ever.

:::Players:::

You need to stop asking "why are no updates here yet?". Players need to learn that updates only happen when everything involved with the update is finished. If someone that was supposed to be released, hasn't been released yet, there is more to it than what was mentioned. We do keep ALOT of secrets involving what exactly is going on in debug, because players don't know how to wait for things, as this has been proven before. We (staff) post a picture of Snipers being used on Debug, and automatically players bug us on when it will be released. If there was a set date, we would have mentioned it.

I was the next ET hired after Huwa...and am still ET. Also I don't think Vulcan has anything to do with Zone anymore...

He still has rights, believe it or not x-x

Cor left. Jesse is always busy with Zodiac so he's never on. Ravenblade is occupied with GK and will come before his Zone job unfortunately. Honestly Gambet and Stefan never host. Vulcan has rights but he doesn't host. I haven't seen Crono host in awhile but I don't know. So that leaves you, Jo and Huwajux. Since Jo is going for awhile that leaves you and Huwajux. People like to be reassured that there is someone watching the hackers and having fun events so I would like to help.

Zone should follow the example of other servers and simply require ET's to host X amount of events per X days so we don't have so many people running around with rights.

I just hosted 2x $500 rounds and 1 reaper round like last week! :mad:

Who said 3 months exactly? I wonder where that originated. I assumed i was leaving for 1, 1 and a half months maybe. How long do American summer holidays last? Lol well anyway i'll enjoy my time off, though i do believe i will miss these great arguements imensely.

I might not even get to try to be ET before you come back heh, still haven't heard ANYTHING from Dark about it.

Raven has to balance two jobs. If he isn't on every single day, it's because he can't be.

Believe it or not, there are time zones outside of the few that make up North America. And guess what? Crono lives in one of those other time zones. And omg? That means you won't see him on all the time. Or, actually, most of the time. (Huwajux is out there too, but we don't care about him. <3)

Yeah Huwajux is is GMT...I'm GMT + 1, meaning I rule because I'm on during my own time zone and all through the sweet spot of time when all the Americans are on. <3

I recently got added to Kingdoms Debug for Gk so I have another job also but i will still find the time to hit zone and make people freeze others.

Don't know what has been said, or what people's opinion's are. But here is my view. Unlike, everyone I know that ETs will abuse for fun, and yes it is bad, but its not serious. Not one ET has ever went really overboard as in, "Corrupted".

ET's Name--My View.

Huwajux-- He seems, like the one who knows the most and is the leader, he is on often just not in timezone when alot of the "Eastern Time Zone" players are on.

Crono-- Has been gone for a while due to school, recently returned, he is active, and is not on when most players are. Not to make people mad, but he is the ET who I think has been the most responsiable with his powers. But that is what I have seen and it is not much.

Jesse-- Maybe the nicest ET, at least he appears that way to me, he is usually on Zodiac, but he comes to Zone in a "Flash" when he recieves a PM regarding a problem. As a ET I think you don't have to be majorly active, only be ready and willing when needed.

Jo-- He was maybe the most active and hosted alot of events, but then agian all people did when they first became ET. He is doing a good job, and is soon to leave for 3 months.

Raven-- He may be a "noob" as some people call him, but he does not lie, I see him on Zone at least once every day, and he hosts events when he can usually the Players don't agree with the rules so the events go wrong. In my opinion most people don't like him just because they still hold that grudge of him being hired, I too at first though him being hired was bad, but it is not what I though. Rember the saying, "Don't judge a book, by its cover."
Raven-- Also answers to PMs, and such and hops on Zone.

Now onto the basis of hiring a ET for Jo as a "temp", I agree and dissagree. As I see it, Anubis should have a shot, and it would be nice for someone to be hosting activley so other ETs can have a break in the Summer. Then agian, I see it as when Crono left, he never needed a replacement, and he was gone for a month or so.

Edit: Probably not Clear, but whatever this thread is about, I am just saying, our Current ETs are good. Their are no real giant issues. The only real issues are in gameplay as a whole, but that is a bigger picture, and has nothing to do with the ETs.
